Personally, I think Tom Holland is the best Spider-man yet.

Lol. I have all these ideas for mods I wanna make with the Bedrock scripting API, but so far 2 of them won't work. One because of scripting limitations, and another because of a bug in the current beta. I have a few more ideas I'll starts working on. Hopefully, they'll work. The next i'm 99% sure won't fail.(If it works, I'll probably make a status about it :p)

Disney, take my money. Take it now. Take it! TAKE IT!!!!

Well. Less than 20 days until the final word in the story of Skywalker.
'Tis the season to ride the hype train.

Uh, RTX isn't a Minecrat feature yet. I'm showing an image of regular MC. Plus, I think when RTX is a thing tehy won't be needing to fake light bouncing in that way. Because ray tracing.

Disney confirmed that the Mandalorian Season 2 will feature "epic lightsaber action".
Now I really can't wait for October.
I wonder who will be fight Moff Gideon though. He has the Darksaber, but who else is going to have a lightsaber? Baby Yoda?

That is incorrect, lightsabers are part of an old religion, not the main weapon of the franchise, you can't tell me there would be an an equal amount of people with a lightsabers as there are with blasters.

They're releasing a free map along with MC RTX to show off all the key features of it.
This pack doesn't use any custom textures with any sort of texture mapping(except in the area that shows off that, I guess).
This is just the default shader that RTX will use.
Can't wait to see some beautiful community made shaders!
This comes out for Windows 10 users, on computers that have a ray-tracing GPU.
I'll have to wait until XSX releases to use this.

Their shaders suck. I would rather stick with mods.

@Swift Java and Javascript are two completely different things. A language called GLSL is typically used for shaders.

Potentially contriversial Minecraft opinion:
Nether portals should slowly transform the ground around it inot netherack and magma.
I only say this since the ruined portal structures, which have been there for a very very long time, have netherrack around it.
I don't mean that you go mining, or exploring, come back home and oh no, everything is netherrack. I mean a really really slow, and managable rate.
Could be a detail or somthing, Idk.

Read this in Donald Trump's voice:
"So I just discovered this great game, it's called Mincraft, and it's very tremendous, quite tremendous. A very, very..big league game. And I think that millions, if not billions of people would love to play a game this tremendous, and we're looking into making that happen. We're looking into it quite a lot..quite a lot."
What do you think, spot on?

@Draco63 this only makes sense if you've ever watch Trump speak.

If there were one game you could replay for the first time what would It be?
I think for me it would probably be...either Portal 2 or Half Life Alyx.

minecraft because now it's one of the most boring games i own
and no frick off i don't want anyone to ask me why it's boring, this might've been one of the reasons i got kicked from the only group chat that i actually used because everybody there knew basically everything about mc that i didn't even though i started playing in 2012 on xbox 360 edition
-
@Cubic Ralsei Nah I totally get that. I feel like Ive pretty much done everything in the game I could do, and even if that's far from the truth I dont have the drive to gather the resources. Playing creative isnt rewarding but survival is pretty grindy, there's not much a balance between the two which of course makes sense because creative and survival are two different game modes but you know.

I'm absolutely stunned by Apple's Air Pods Max.
Its like this. You can buy a Playstation 5 or, for $50 more, these headphones.
Seriously. These headphones are $550. Not including sales tax.
I mean, I never buy Apple products anyway. But are there actual humans who would pay that? I'll bet the Samsung equivalent of these is $120

Spider Man 3(MCU) is confirmed to have Doc Oc, played by the same guy who played him in Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man!
As well as Electro, with the same actor from The Amazing Spider-Man 2.
Also rumored to have all 3 versions of Spider-man in it, because multi-verse(Doctor Strange is also confirmed).
Honestly, I hope they use this film as a backdoor to a Maguire Spider-Man 4, even this many years later. That would be epic.
Note: The actors are returning to the same roles, but are not necessarily playing the same character.

@__Mine__ No I dont think that's right. Im pretty sure they used the mobs and blocks as examples. They said the biggest part of the update, actual generation, would be in a second part. That being said, we may get all of the features without the generation, they really should have delayed the update. Hell I really dont think Mojang should be even announcing when they want to get an update out if they really dont want to stress their team.
-
I mean, I honestly don't care all that much. If it somehow manages to make it better in the end, I'm fine with it. I would prefer to get just-as-frequent snapshots with content that's a little bit less massive than to wait months for updates.
And who knows, they may still do some really cool stuff in these next few months, just less worldgen focused.
-
I also waiting it not just Minecraft,But MI too.
When Minecraft 1.17 came out,Then Mine-Imator 1.3.0 Released. And I can sure that they took to long to Releasing it maybe because of the World situation right now,The usual they work on the Mojang Office, now they work from home. Not really sure what it actually Seems like.

Mojang: Iron, gold, and copper ore blocks now drop raw iron, gold and copper ore instead of the block.
Me: D :
Also Mojang: But Fortune now works on them.

I'm surprised it took them this long to make Fortune behave the same across all ores, but hey, at least they've done it.

So in the today's snapshot they increased the world height. But it seems to me they did it in the worst way possible.
So, what they did was add 64 blocks to the bottom and 64 to the top, so the lowest you can go is y-64 and the highest y320, for a total of 384.
It would've been better just to add 128 blocks on top I think, because now they've got to figure a way to convert old worlds and continue generation downward which supposedly could cause some issues. For one thing the transition wouldn't be seamless, and another being anything you've built at bedrock level could be warped or destroyed altogether(I say this because of the way MC Xbox One world borders were dealt with when converting to Bedrock Edition in that builds near the old world border are destroyed). Of course its entirely possible they'll do it completely different, I am just speculating after all.
I also see how lowering the world 64 will make for larger caves, which is a good thing.
So I like that they lowered it, but also think that it may be problematic. Maybe the best route is to just not increase the height of old worlds, or just add 128 blocks on top of old worlds. But idk, we'll just see what they do.

@__Mine__ I agree with most of what you said, but when I said add 128 blocks to the top of worlds I guess i meant just 128 blocks of air that the play can build in. Hadn't thought about the fact that generation would change.

Yeah, but since the intent is to give caves more space, splitting that extra height is actually pretty good, and the way they've chosen to implement it is also the most seamless, all things considered.

I need an idea for a huge, useless project to do on my xbox one survival world, that has no other purpose than giving me something to do. (and looking cool) Any ideas?

Honestly, the loom is one of the best things they'v ever added to Minecraft. On console edition we had a banner crafting section that made it super easy to make them. But then I was pretty much forced to switch to bedrock(Don't worry, I don't hate it anymore) and now I must craft banners the hard way. Manually. Putting each item in the grid. With a controller(super tedious and slow). But with the loom it's even easier than it was on console edition. Yay.
