This update...I have no words...I'm in awe.
All I can really say is, they've done it right. I saw the new cave generation, and that is exactly what I always wanted. The features in this update are all incredible and unique.
I love it, and I can't wait for this update.
I mean, I was excited for the Nether Update, but thats got nothing on this.

Am I the only one who thinks Among Us would make an excellent VR game?
With some adjustments of course. It would be good in first person too i guess.
-
I got an Xbox Series X!!!!
It was tighter than the presidential race, but I got one! Been waiting all year.
-
Well. Guess I'm 18 now.
All down hill from here.

I'll be buying a Switch Monday, and leaving on vacation Tuesday. Perfect timing. I'd hate to have absolutely nothing to do for 8 hours.

I wonder how many people died in Endgame from the reverse-snap. Think about it. If someone was driving at 70 mph when they got snapped away, 5 years later they'd find themselves floating 2 feet above the ground going 70 mph, and that's if there didn't happen to be another car in that same spot at the moment. And what if someone was in a plane?
And those aren't even the biggest issue here. What about the movement of the Earth?? Realistically, everyone who came back would soon die because they come back in space, unless they had planned to do their snap when the Earth was in the same place(which they didn't)
Of course, Professor Hulk could'v accounted for all this when he snapped.

while we're at it, a lot of construction and demolition could've occurred over the 5 years between the snap and the blip, how many people would just re-appear in the middle of the floor of a new building, or the rubble of a demolished one? someone could just re-appear in the middle of an overpass and immediately suffocate.
better yet, how would the blip affect existing relationships? imagine, one day you're a parent and your significant other and child fade from the snap, you move onto someone else, then out of the blue they pop back into reality. boy, that'd complicate matters

Holy cow. In today Bedrock 1.13 beta, there is a hidden beta skin chooser which I think has an editor, to create skins in game. At any rate, a proper method for custom skins on xbox and switch.(rather than having to put the skins in the game files the hard way.)

You actually need to set the light level it emits in the /give command like so:
/give @p light_block 1 <light level (0-15)>
There's a number on the sprite to let you know which light level it's set at. To remove a light block, you need to place a 0 light block on it.

Am I the only one who cringes at the sight of 90s/early 2000s CGI?
I think totally CGI characters work better when they're non human. like Thanos, Rocket and Professor Hulk are believable. I know it's CG but i don't really think of it that way. Tarkin in Rouge One was realistic, but you could still tell it was CGI.

I actually have more of an issue with modern CGI. Looks like crap most of the time; mass produced CGI effects, scenes, characters, usually not fitting in with the world around it and just completely screwing over the visuals of movies. I would rather watch the 90s through early 2000s CGI than a lot of the stuff we have now. Even the big movies like the Hobbit trilogy, the new Star Wars movies, and more recent Marvel movies just have such garbage CGI. Sometimes it'd look okay if it were on its own outside of the real world, but most of the time, the blending into what we know to be the real world is just abysmally done. Doesn't fit and ruins immersion. Plus, the editing done is insane. A lot of movies look like someone filmed it and then applied 20 snapchat filters to make it look "better" but really just made it look super flashy and unrealistic, obviously fake.

I hope 1.15 will be a cave update, but if it's not I think 1.16 will be. If not, Mojang may have a riot on their hands.
I more week to find out...

@Cubic RalseiHave you seen 1.14? they did more than 'add a few blocks and mobs'...
I though 1.14 was a good update. Not really a needed one, but sure, New villages are great.

With Disney+ launching tomorrow, I have 2 choices on how to watch The Mandalorian.
I could pay $7 a month until the show is over(The Mandalorian in the only thing I'd want Disney+ for until the Marvel stuff starts)
Or, I could wait until it's all been released, then pay for 1 month and binge watch it.
hmm...option one.

It was canon before Disney. Disney's version is inferior.

As far as a small update goes, the 'Buzzy Bees' update isn't bad. Honey blocks have redstone uses.
But 'Buzzy Bees' is the dumbest update name. Ever.
It's "1.15". Anyone caught calling it 'Buzzy Bees' from here on out shall be...executed.

@__Mine__ You're right, but you really sound like a boomer lol.
-
@__Mine__ While I do agree, the update name doesn't matter. As long as it's got some sort of good content, they could call it whatever they want.

Explain this to me:
Java edition got custom flat worlds when it was less than 2 years old.
xbox 360 edition got custom flat worlds when it was just over 2 years old.
Bedrock edition was promised custom flat worlds "soon" almost 4 years ago. The game has already had custom flat functionality for years , only through external world editors. All they need to do is add an in-game UI. What in the world is so hard about that??

@Ethaniel Couldn't agree more, Buffet is a downright pathetic excuse for a Customised Worlds replacement. The fact that it feels like Mojang are hoping the players forget about CW's existence doesn't help matters either.

I'm really excited for Half-Life Alyx. I'v got a headset, and i'm fairly confident my pc can run it(Minimum GPU is gtx 1060. I have 1050. Am I wrong to assume I can run it?)
The gameplay described seems really cool, although I have some concerns.
To crouch in the game you have to crouch in real life. I'm not too psyched about crouching for long periods of time,
Also, cut scenes. I'm a little worried about have the G-man all up in my face.

@TwoToRule I think he's talking about Half-Life: Alyx's minimum specs

Scary thought:
Nancy Pelosi is third in line for the Presidency .
If Trump get assassinated, Mike Pence needs to hide in a bunker somewhere.

Well dang it. Black Widow has been delayed.
I hate coronavirus and the absurd fear mongering that comes with.

As we all know, superhero movies are so much more important than a public health crisis.

Of course not.
But in this case, the public health crisis is not worthy of having absolutely everything shut down for it.

I feel like they should remove netherite tools from the ruined bastion structures.
When they added netherite, it was great because it was a new tier that was really hard to get compared to the other toolsets.
I think they should remain a pain to obtain.(Lol, clever)

@__Mine__ I agree with most of what you said.
Although, I never thought nethrite to be too OP.
They're only a bit better than diamond, and impervious to fire and lava.

Oh good grief. Some are saying the world will never go back to normal after this pandemic.
Why the heck not!? This pandemic, bad as it may be, is most certainly not the worst thing to ever plague the world. We've had much, much worse, and the world always bounces back to some sort of normality.
I mean, look at WWI, WWII. Coronavirus hasn't killed anywhere near the amount that World War II did. Worldwide.
People are scared, people are panicking, and people are resorting to absurd predictions.
Also, new data shows that a ton of people already have immunity, suggesting that Los if people had it and never knew it. Some say that Covid19 is 1/85 as deadly as they first thought.
- Show previous comments 2 more
-
I'd say it's definitely more serious, in that it's a lot more widespread than the others were.
...but yes, the media's definitely fanning the flames too.
-
I just noticed that the cross-hair is way smaller on Bedrock than on Java.
...
I can never unsee that.
Apparently, it makes no difference. It took me years to even take notice.

The hotbar on Bedrock Edition is offset by one pixel.
You're welcome.
