  3. A rig of Giganotosaurus from Ark: Survival Evolved. Unlike other dinosaur rigs, it uses bending on its neck, body, and tails. download link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1QQdz7Rw7plRQsFgaKWP4vglC9T7zpJAG/view?usp=sharing When you use this rig, please leave credit and also do not re-upload it.

  7. Hello everyone, and hope you're all doing well! It's been a while since the last dev update, a lot of crazy stuff has been going on in the world since then. However despite the madness, I still found time to work on the next exciting update for Mine-imator! Not much progress has been since then, but I figured I would show off some things I've been working on. The renders featured in this dev update were made by @Keep on Chucking. Volumetric fog For those who have seen the last dev update, I showed off the new volumetric rays. Originally, I wanted to make the rays a proper volumetric fog with sunlight scattering through. After revisiting this feature this past Summer, I've upgraded them to a proper fog effect! This effect can be used alongside the default fog included in Mine-imator and there will be an option to switch back to the volumetric rays shown in the previous dev update. Indirect lighting / SSGI New shadows? Improved ambient lighting? There no way lighting can get any better.. can it?! It can. Introducing: Indirect lighting, a secret ingredient among many to making your lighting really pop in your scene by allowing direct lighting to be casted from bright objects automatically, and allowing light to bounce from objects directly lit by light sources and tint the surrounding area! This feature really brightens your scene up and makes lighting a lot easier to set up. However, due to being a screen space rendering technique, the effect will only work with lit objects that are visible to the camera. Inventory After overhauling the rendering in Mine-imator, I'm now onto integrating the rebrand in Mine-imator. Inventory is the name @Voxy has decided on for the slick design language Modelbench uses and what Mine-imator will eventually receive in the next major update. This process will take a while, as Mine-imator's codebase is arguably bigger than Modelbench's. In the meantime, if you have any questions concerning the new interface, feel free to drop them below in the replies for Voxy to answer in an upcoming Q&A post! That's all I've got to show for now unfortunately! While things may be moving at the pace of a snail, I'm afraid things won't speed up any time soon since I'm the only developer working on this update after all, and I have a part-time job and doing full-time college. However there's no need to fret, as Voxy and I are trying our best to make this the best update we can possibly (and reasonably) make it. Until next time, keep on animating. Oh, and of course, one last thing...

    Better Bends

Hey guys! soo i have been messing around with mb a lot lately and i happened to find a way that makes the bending look better. (Sadly the bending does kinda clip at some point but there is less clipping) a closer look (better bending on right) Download (Includes Steve and Alex models) Important stuff

  19. New Mine-Imator UI Design Concept. So I think with this Design, All Problem will be fixed. Design process took me almost 6+ Hours,And Designed with Paint.net. so let's have a look at my New Design. In this design I removed a few Features, And UI,Because Why? well last few weeks ago I make a Design of Mine-Imator UI which is Just a concept what it would look like if MI In 2030. Yes you will noticed 2030 Numbers If you read All my text on my last few weeks status update. Start Menu UI Concepts: Create New Project's UI Concepts: Difficulty Mode UI Concepts: Mine-Imator Interface UI Concepts: Explanations: OK So To make it clear I want to explain it! ok so The UI I'm gonna Explain is The Interface, or Main Interface. Let's Start From Tab Features. Yes Tab Features will make a Viewport Screen a little bit smaller than before, but Trust me For Advanced Animators, Maybe this will help them 89% Time Saving. And the reason why I Add this Tab Feature Concept is because Just to Simplify a Main Viewport Tab, I mean If We wanna set a lighting for example, We don't need to do it on our main tab. And of course We can Add new Tab That we can customize On Our Own Mood. Camera Number: The reason I add this feature concept is because to Reduced Of using multiple times of clicking the Second screen options if we just want to see the obj, or RIG by different Angle. I hope you can Understand this If you're Advanced Animators. And We can select What Camera view we want to place into The main screen. Empty Boxes:See that Empty Box Right On the Upper Tab? Yes I see it, then why the hell you Add this empty boxes? what does that benefit? You May Ask. Well The reason I Add This Is Because When you working on a complex projects, or RIG I sure 100% All of you will be experiencing When ya'll Done of Rigging, then Want to deselect All objects, But there's no Sky to click on. so From here you already understand what I mean. To Deselect All Objects. That is the function of this Empty Boxes. Timeline Assets Tab: Assets Tab to reduced Of Being go outside Mine-Imator Software just to import a RIG. In this Assets Tab, You can just simply Add Your RIG, And then The RIG Will be here as long as you want. if the program doesn't crash I mean. Keyframe Line:Reason is to Highlights which keyframe that Are Changed, and which not. so This thing is when the First keyframe have a Position in Y Axis=90,5,And the Second Have different Y Axis Number, Y=198,3. The Keyframe Will have the Line which is Highlighted If the Keyframe Had a different Numbers of Settings. hope ya'll Understand this. And Finally For the Right Hand Side Tab We Have Vertical Tab Features Concepts. Reason is to simplify Animators when They want to click different settings. And This Will help People Save their 3 Seconds Time on their life, Because It have Vertical Tab So This Vertical Tab Will have much space to place on because It's Vertical. OK So What do You Guys Think About My Design? Critiques, Suggestions, And etc can be leaved In the comments section down below. And Like Always. STAY CREATIVE!

  20. ?Asnail's 2020 Christmas Gift? ?Merry Christmas Everyone!? I had lots of fun making this animation & right before Christmas! I tried to incorporate a lot in the 13 sec loop. 23. Man, I would hate to have to learn English.I mean, I did. But if I didn't already speak it, it would really suck to learn. Just look at this: through, though, cough, laugh, tough. They're pronounced throo, tho, coff, laff, tuff. Whoever decided the spelling for these words was bonkers. And while I'm at it, ya know what else is bonkers? The Imperial(or English) measurement system. 12 inches in a foot, 3 feet in a yard, 5280 feet in a mile. Seriously, who came up with these numbers!? And why does the US still use this? Everyone else uses the Metric System, because it's infinitely superior. Everything is based on 10. A nice, even 10.
