  4. Five Nights at Freddys' might be oversaturated in the Mine-Imator community, but that won't stop me from doing my take on the animatronic bear. If you don't like FNaF, that's perfectly fine, you don't have to look at FNaF related posts, you have the ability to just not post on them and ignore them. Anyways, this is my take on a proper Freddy rig in Mine-Imator. He took a bit longer to do than I expected, primarily because several users in the discord servers pointed out some proportion issues. Once those issues are pointed out to me, it's like a mental oath that I am forced to sign that declares "Corellion, you must redo this model to exceed their expectations. It's not good enough!" haha. It's a good thing though, because it's leading me to fix a lot of my older models to look even better. Of course, it's also a huge curse, because it means I rarely am satisfied with my models, and they constantly sit around as a work in progress. I get stuck in an endless loop of seeing little details to add, or minor changes to improve it. Oh well. Enough talk. here he is.

    Universal Facial Rig

So I expanded upon my Mouth rig, and created a facial rig that has 3D eyes, and has the ability to have a 3D hat layer from any skin with no editing. The eyes use the same technique as the mouth does and was styled after my character's eyes. The mouth included has some subtle changes compared the released version I have out, but nothing major. Now, time for some pictures. (Special thanks to @SKIBBZ for making these renders.) More images: Features: -Mouth Rig -3D Eyes Rig (Has Steve's eye and eyebrow color by default.) -Multi-skin compatible 3D Hat/ hair layer rig. (Has Steve's hair and non-visible by default.) How to install: 1.) Import the .object file. 2.) Parent to character's head (Or object.) 3.) Done. (Tip: The 'README' file says how to use it.) How to change hat/hair texture: 1.) Go into the 'Resources' list and look for 'Hat_Default' and click it. 2.) Replace it with the skin you want to use the hat layer from. (If a 64x32 skin doesn't work, expand the canvas size to 64x64 then try again.) 3.) Reload the project to fix any rendering issues. Usage Policy: You can release it in personal/ OC character rigs. Edited or not.(Must be named 'Nimi's facial rig.') But, it's required in that rig's credits to give credit to me for the usage of the mouth rig if used. You can't release it/ or parts of it on default Mine-imator objects(Mobs, blocks, ect.), Steve/ Alex rigs, character template rigs, or facial rigs. You can release edits of the rig, but only privately, and not publicly. If used in a creation of any kind, there must be credit. Download

    Broken City

The war had come. They realized too late that it would be their last. It crippled the world, leaving the few people left to fend for themselves and sift through the mistakes of the fallen and the careless. I tried to sound poetic but I think I butchered it. Enjoy maybe

  20. Honestly, I got a lot less of that immaturity than I expected, from the community as a whole. I figured the second I made anything FNaF related, I'd be banished. Y'know, some people just can't handle the fact that the world doesn't revolve around them, and that people exist with other interests. Pretty sad if you ask me. I understand that FNaF gets tiring after a while, especially due to the amount of low-effort content, but throwing a tantrum about it is just ridiculous. Granted, I've also had bad relations with the amount of hate that FNaF gets in the community, but that's a completely different story that isn't appropriate here. I appreciate the kind words! I honestly wasn't even sure that I wanted to share this one anywhere, due to some issues that happened the last time that I posted something FNaF related. I figured it'd be a good learning curve, since I try to go for realism whenever I can. The more complex the shapes are, the more fun it is to try and make it work within the limitations of Mine-imator. I appreciate it! Here's a better look at Freddy up close, albeit the lighting isn't that great.

  29. Hi, wonderful animators! ? This is my first post ^__^ I have recently gotten a lot more into making renders, learning the ropes of using Mine-imator, and I'm loving every bit of it. I've been recently extra passionate with all the 1.17 stuff rolling out, special thanks to @MCPA Team for putting together the 1.17 resources and being so quick on updating with the newest features week to week with each major snapshot. Here's a little snippet of what I've gotten to do with these new resources, thanks to their work on the resources! Which brings me over to what I am wondering about-- I really love being able to build in my worlds and it's amazing how easy it is to just import directly into Mine-imator to make my renders. The caveat is that I believe the limitation of importing is hard coded into Mine-imator for only selecting between y=0 and y=256, and won't even show anything outside this range, understandably so probably because it would be unnecessary and slower to render nothingness. As of snapshot 21w06a, the world limits have been extended to range from y=-64 to y=320, now including some major, new cave generation in the negative depths of the world. Naturally, I'm brainstorming all sorts of scenes I could make in these new beautiful caves with grimstone (currently "deepslate" as of 21w08a). I assume there probably isn't an easy patch to this without having to recompile the entire program-- which I don't have the means to do if it can only be done with a paid copy of GMS2 (let me know otherwise if it can be done without GMS2, and maybe I could do it lol... I don't have too much problem reading some code with text editors). I'm guessing though that it might just be as easy as locating the code that limits between 0 and 256, and change the integers to -64 and 320 if the region .mca file structures didn't change otherwise? Is this something that anyone would be able to look into and implement soon, or guide me on how to do this otherwise if it somehow doesn't require GMS2? I would be eternally grateful! I'm looking to possibly start a series on playing in the snapshots, and I just really want to be able to make some renders of the places I visit ^__^ Thanks for reading, have a wonderful day!

  32. The issue is, a lot of times people on the bug reporting forum don't actually explain what the issue is. They copy/paste the crash log (without even reading it, mind you) and add a title like 'MI Crash' or 'Help with bug' that doesn't make it at all clear what the issue actually is. It's hard to help if you don't give us information.

    Why this sucks

Time for a wake-up call bub, the Staff aren't entitled to solving issues, their job is to make sure forumers are following the rules, and quite frankly, since there aren't many moderators/ staff that are active as most of the forumers are, they most likely didn't even know you made the topic asking for help unless it involves them with an "@" tag. So remember, Staff aren't bug trackers, they're Moderators that keep the forums in check.

  35. A lot of people on Bug reports including me have problems using Mine-Imator. So, when WE report our problems, the Staff is too lazy to ever even bother to reply a solution. Because honestly they just don't care. And its better off just doing something else. So if your going have a great " Software " and have Topics of " Bugs " Then actually bother to help people who have problems and bugs.
