Just decreased the daily rep limit to 5 again, 8 was too generous to achieve the desired result.

@Pharien Frossa put the limit in place recently for good reasons. One being that it combats a common practice used on the forums where members continuously up-rep other members in simple conversations. It also stops people from mass up-repping others to the point where they make it to the popular contributors list really quickly for doing nothing.(Which recently happened.)

I removed it because it didn't have the intended triggering effects. Some people still have it though, for some inexplicable reason.

Way too often I (and @Emunator too, I would presume. Maybe even @Aronan too?) get @'d on topics which supposedly require moderator attention. The official way to bring trouble to staff attention however, is to make a report. The report button can be found on the top of every post: Never tag a staff member unless it happens to be for a personal matter, otherwise it just risks drowning in the sometimes dozens of notifications we receive daily. It is also down-right frustrating to see a bunch of empty posts containing nothing but "@Frossa" everywhere (which can technically be equated to spam, for that matter). So stop. Make reports.

There's not even a full page of actual Mine-imator mods in Modding discussion yet, so it seems the general capacity to create mods, let alone that will satisfy the countless suggestions, is somewhat lacking. It even says in your signature that you don't take/do mod commissions, to further manifest this. A better idea would be to get rid of the section altogether, but that will likely lead to program suggestions being posted where they don't belong.
