Haven't ever played a Halo game, but I heard they're great.

I think iconic would be a more appropriate word for good here. Excellent music wouldn't necessarily redeem an average game, and a more subtle presence of music wouldn't condemn a really creative or fun game either.

Great soundtracks can only accentuate and boost a game, pushing them from good or great to legendary. It isn't really fair to regard music as such a core element to a game's merit when they're literally worlds apart.

No doubt, a good soundtrack always makes the whole thing better.

Tbh I can't get off my head the Crysis 2 theme from Hans Zimmer. I can't get off my head anything done by Zimmer, really

If they can change a game's rating for a mod not included in the base game, then they can certainly change HL2 to T or E10+.

And also change Super Mario Odyssey to an E.   Just like every other Mario game.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl was rated T because Wario farts.

I haven't played it myself, but so many people think Halo shouldn't be rated M, and, knowing the ESRB, the people who think Halo should be rated T are probably right.

CSGO should be T with a note about online interactions, especially since its content is just like T-rated PUBG's.

Portal, which is rated T but more appropriate than its E10+ sequel.

DiRT 4 was rated T for Mild Lyrics, but Madden NFL was rated E for Comic Mischief, Mild Language, and Mild Violence.
