  1. So far I have 4 complete entries for my Apartment Collab. That's a decent start.

    The Apartment Collab

It should go away when the project is rendered. If it doesn't, try turning off its texture filtering.
  3. In case you missed it, my forum account turned one year old today, and I have started a collab to celebrate.

I think it's been about 16 months for me.

      I can't do math

  4. Hello, everyone! My forums account has become one year old today, and to celebrate, I've decided to see if I know how to host a collab. I present to you... The Apartment Collab! The concept of the collab is simple: just animate yourself in an apartment doing whatever it is you want, whether it's hanging out with friends, dancing by yourself, performing satanic rituals, whatever! Deadline: December 11, 2018. That gives you a month to animate and submit your entry. Rules: How to submit: Upload your entry to YouTube as an unlisted video, and send the link to me via a private message. Download Template: Example: (i guess this also counts as my own entry) Have fun.

1 day was remaining (well, currently none) to the 100th anniversary of Polish independence.

Why I see you joined in November 12, 2017?

  7. I wonder when the metric system will decide to optimize time.

Maybe there will be 100 seconds in a minute, 100 minutes in an hour, and 10 hours in a day.

...Now I'm wondering if that could actually work.

    1. Rollo

100 firsts in a maxute, 100 maxutes in a your, 10 yours in a day.

Seriously I think that could actually work. Units of measurement are completely fabricated, just like the passage of time. You're onto something.

A classical tragedy remastered. I suppose since David made the video I stole the audio from, this counts as a tribute to him since he stopped developing Mine-imator. Good luck, @david.

  12. If the ocean is full of salt, how are there snails in there?

    1. MikTRF

      Uuuuuhhhhhh... Magic?

    2. -StickyMations-

In the ocean, meanwhile, things are different. One thing is that saltwater is not as strongly desiccating as pure salt. Obviously, saltwater has a higher concentration of water than pure salt does. Saltwater can definitely still desiccate any objects that do still have a higher concentration of water than the saltwater has, pulling the water out of them; but it can’t do so as strongly as pure rock salt can.

But the other thing is that ocean animals have an internal saltiness that ensures that salt water won’t dry them up. The internal saltiness of sea snails is equal to the external saltiness of the seawater. The sea snail doesn’t dry up in salt water, because it was never about the presence of salt, so much as it was about the relative difference in water content between salt and snail.
