A sad sad affair by Americans that we have tolerated for far too long. The 4th of July, or Independence day as you know has been built on nothing but lies and misconceptions. We are Americans, we do not write the date 4/7/2020 which is how we say the 4th of July. For such a long time we have been using the eastern form of date usage to declare our independence. In the USA we say 7/4/2020, July 4th, the proper and superior date methodology. Are we really Independent if we continue to let this stay true within our culture? No, as Americans we are celebrating July 4th, Independence day. The greatest day in our nation. So please, consider being patriotic and using the right way of saying the date, like a real American.

A Nether update was at the top of the list for me for some time now so those not too hyped for 1.16, why?

Haven't people been saying it's mod when they introduced pistons? If they don't add more interesting features, the community will die down like it did around 1.7 to 1.13
You could always just dig down and get full diamond armour in less than an hour.
Also, villagers are working just as RNG as getting diamonds in Minecraft, sure you might get mending enchantment first try, but you still need ton of emeralds to get it, and a ton of XP to use it.
If you think the game is too easy can't you just ramp of the difficulty level? I believe Mojang is working on the combat to improve it, if they think you need better armour who knows what mobs they are adding next. I do agree it is easy right now, with hard mode not offering many other challenges other than mobs doing more damage.
Not to mention if you don't want these new features, you can just play an older version of the game.

Why are you guys attacking someone over snow on a tree, its absolutely ridiculous.
Cubic you are continually changing what you say, first you say you have never seen snow on a single side of a tree, than when we prove you wrong, you say how there is actually snow, but not repeated like that, then you say that there is snow like that but not on every tree (even though there literally is snow on each tree).
Ian you actually need to look outside more,pine trees only have leaves around the top, most of the time. And the thin line excuse doesn't make since, its either going to be a single texture, or break the rules of Minecraft and be more than a pixel wide.
I practically left this community because of people like Ian and Cubic, you guys continually criticize for no reason and bring people to extreme lengths to prove your point. And continually backtrack your steps to make it look like you aren't incorrect, when in fact you really are. Sorry for the long text but this has been boiling up inside me for quite some time.
