Well technically it never came out. Beta 1.9 were the first snapshots in Minecraft. It went straight from 1.8.1 to 1.0.0.

the names of updates and others in minecraft now are generic and sometimes even done with broken grammar (the update aquatic, super duper graphics pack, minecraft dungeons, the minecraft movie, etc)

@SuperNerdNathan It it NOT easier to mod. On bedrock you can add a fully working new mob in minutes. a new block in seconds. And a bunch of other things(including new biomes, or edit existing ones), plus you don't need to know Java to do it, basically you need to be able to read. And we don't need data packs; on Bedrock resource packs basically take their function.

Well, it should. Also, the characters suits and things are obviously based off movies, not comics.

I like the fact that it isn't the regular MCU cast. The suits are kind of based off the movies but you can even say the comic suits were changed after Avengers' success. You're argument is sort of like people not liking Spider-Man PS4 because it's not apart of the MCU and has a different actor is playing Peter. Doesn't make sense... But either way, new characters are getting added after release with different stories, so I think it's safe to say Stephen Strange has a chance of getting featured/added.

Java has been updated before Bedrock most of the time Bedrock went through a semi-short time where it was updated faster. But, to be fair, Java has one platform to deal with, while Bedrock has a bunch.

I thought Microsoft kinda was paying more attention to Bedrock because they want their own little bastardized version of Minecraft. Java isn’t something they like because you can do everything for free.

I feel like this isn't the only graphics-y thing coming with the Render Dragon. Ray tracing is way too exclusive to replace SDGP. LIke, one platform can have it,  until probably 2021. And when they canceled SDGP, they said they will have other ways for Minecraft to have fancyness I think.  So I think there will be somthing for the general Bedrock playerbase soon, in addition to this.

I don't know, I actually don't mind it too much, options are nice. I guess having it affect hitboxes is a genuine concern, I hope they'll do something about it.

I'm finding that it's because I'm editing the texture that's attached to the .mimodel file (AKA in the same folder as it).

If I make a copy elsewhere, make changes to the copy, then replace the texture with the edited copy manually, it works.

Pretty certain that's a bug...

@__Mine__ For it to work, you need to:

1. Save your model at least once.
2. Make your changes on the copy of the texture Modelbench will create at the save location, as this is the one that'll be linked to your model.

EDIT: Huh, that's what you're doing. It's weird, that's how it works on my end.

Another interesting thing about Netherite blocks is that they're just as resistant to explosions as obsidian, but they can actually be moved by pistons.

Now that I think about it's the implementation of these to Bedrock may be a precursor to proper custom structures.(Which I think already is on Java?)

I can honestly see Bedrock getting user functionality for jigsaw first, because of the way resource/behavior packs are already set up.  

What I'm getting at is that whenever Bedrock gets custom structures, they may allow creators to use jigsaw to create structures similar to villages.(which is what jigsaw is already used for, at least on Java)

Pretty sure Java Edition's recent snapshots are looking toward implementing Jigsaw Block functionality.
