Lol the day after they remove new cave generation from Java is the day they add it to a Bedrock Beta.
My theory is that the cave gen cannot coexist across the two versions. Only one can have it at a time for some reason.

It'll still be a while till the next dev update, but after releasing a new alpha containing the new UI in Mine-imator for the beta testers and getting some feedback, I've decided to cancel the 1.3 update and release a 2.0 update next year.

Wow. In the latest snapshot, Mojang fixed the bug of the end portal not rendering from the bottom. That issue has been in the game since the end was added. Gj, Mojang!

you really should try lowering your graphic settings, especially antialiasing and shadows. unless it's the recording itself, your framerate looks super low and the graphics might be the reason of crashes, however i did crash once in a showdown match probably because the online mode is pretty scuffed.
