If you guys don't follow the Mine-imator Twitter account, there will be a.... demo? of 1.2 which you can try in about 3 days and also, keyframe transitions can now be applied by right clicking a keyframe and a little window pops up. Hype!

OK, just started trying out Gamemaker Studio and I have to say I love it. The drag and drop interface makes it useful for complete beginners like me. If you haven't given it a go, I highly suggest you try it.

What do you guys think is the most memorable version of Mine-imator. I'd say the most memorable version has got to be 0.6.2.

Shouldn't the angry rep count as a downvote?

It can sometimes be used as an angry reaction as in agreeing with somebody as well.
For example, if someone said "Man, I wish Sonic wasn't a sucky franchise grrrrrr" and then someone else was like "Shoot man, I agree grrrrr it is a sucky franchise" then reacts with an angry since they are also angry at that.

Thinking of learning how to use Unity. Should I?

GameMaker technically uses its own language, GML. So that won't help you in the future unless you plan on using GameMaker exclusively.
Unity is good for C#, Unreal is good for C++. They're really similar but C++ has a wider range of uses from my understanding, while C# is newer and and for specific purposes. That doesn't make C# a bad option, though, fairly certain Minecraft Bedrock Edition uses C#. Both engines are great, but Unity asks you to pay them money if you plan on selling your game, which Unreal does not.
I've looked on the internet and people suggest Unity over Unreal for 2D games. GameMaker, I'd say, is the master for 2D games though.

You guys should start being a little more generous to @Craft inator as he is new. Everyone is downvoting his content and he even told me in messages he is thinking about leaving the forums. I've told him what he should try and do. However, just try to be a little bit nicer to him as he is getting demotivated quickly.
