i'm revisiting aether's soundtrack and holy crap i really missed how good mc mod soundtracks were
-
i always think about how practical and how less of a hassle life would be if it had videogame style mechanics
seriously who wouldn't like to teleport clothes on themselves instead of searching for them painstakingly then take 10 hours to put them on because they're too tight or something

i now have my own phone and jesus christ, why are the apps so limited compared to tablets on the exact same OS? i can't even choose any specific song on spotify without premium, but i can do that on my tablet so why can't i do it on my phone???

yesterday until noon today, i had a power outage for a really long time, because of some super intense storm (with massive hail balls which i'm surprised that they haven't broken car windows) that flooded roads to the point that people were swimming in them. the worst (and also kinda funniest) part is that the house right in front of us had christmas lights turned on while we were literally at the edge of the power outage's area and had to wait for like 10 hours for the power to get back on. after a few minutes (that the storm had started), the storm also literally just dissapeared and it was california-like sunny again.
at least i got my first vaccine today

aero is probably my most ambitious MI project yet. it won't be entirely focused on renders, but more on an interesting story with unique characters and an interesting future vision of the world where things change quickly all the time.
stay tuned for part one, prologue or something ig.

watched the first 2 episodes of invincible and i must say it's really really good.

gta 6 triad gang themed logo

is rdr2 a good game for someone who enjoyed gta v and other fast paced open world games? it seems like rockstar's most ambitious game and everybody loves it, but i'm also kinda worried about how tedious it could be since i've heard that you have to do almost everything manually which sounds super annoying.
-
more footage of the fully destructible game. rain is unfinished
-
started playing wd legion online and surprisingly it's fun, way funner than singleplayer. random events, co-op missions, spiderbot fights and stuff make the game fun.
-
me and my friend have made a twitter account for the game i mentioned in the status update right before this one. here's a tweet containing ingame screenshots, including one with (not final) destruction.
-
gif of a game i'm working on (on roblox) with a friend who actually knows how to script
https://gyazo.com/3ead81c8f0d0a3ce9213010eb6b3482a
it's going to be a fully destructible open world game about storm chasing, scavenging, tornadoes and satire.

why are there less options on the writing thing for status updates? can't color text and stuff anymore
-
jesus christ this theme damages my eyes even when using a dark mode extension

(WD series spoilers) i finished watch dogs 1 yesterday and it ended right when it started getting interesting. i'm glad watch dogs 2 ended right when it started getting less interesting, however both have very boring endings that are just "woohoo no consequences, let's basically kill the villain who seemed like it didn't even try to protect itself!"
legion had pretty much the worst one though (same fashion but instead of it being the villain of the whole story, it's the very character who started the story who turns out to be the villain). glad i uninstalled that one, the entire game was boring, tedious and uninteresting unlike the other two.

i've made more logos than anything else i've ever made
-
POV: you're animating a walk/run cycle
-
i watched totoro and spirited away
am i a weeb
-
i like watching parkour videos while knowing very well that no human is actually capable of doing what they're doing
-
the more i play watch dogs 2 the more it makes gta v's world look pathetic in comparison

I just played GTAV Several times ago,Then I realize that After I done the missions,Then what? And yeah there are so much interactive properties, npc, events, etc.
That makes GTA5 A lot better, and Alive unlike The Others game. But I've been never played Watch Dogs 2,I already Played it on my laptops, and guess what? Yeah Exacly! the Limited hardware that causes me can't play the game.
But GTAV is still a better open world game in my personal Opinions.

saw this on a post, is it a new logo or just an export icon?. if it's a new logo, it really wouldn't fit as a logo at all. it doesn't say "minecraft animation software". there's a similar issue with modelbench's logo, it doesn't even show anything related to modeling or minecraft. they're also just not appealing at all.

I appreciate the feedback but it's a non-issue, a few downvotes doesn't mean I need to change the icon.
If this really was a decisive issue and a lot of people were very vocal about it, things would be different but as far as I'm concerned, it's only a handful of people at most, with an aversion to change.
I've already stated my reasoning so there's nothing else for me to say. As I've said in another status, you can always change it yourself or just give it some time and get used to it.
-
the reason why I downvoted its because I simply don't like that design. statistically speaking, what is the number of people that likes the new icon compared to the old one? if there is more dislikes, the answer seems simple, don't change it. but I understand your reasoning, a simpler icon would certainly be easier to see, but if people are going to dislike the design, no matter how easy it is to see it is not an improvement. do you agree?

A friend of mine said this on discord:
QuotePersonally, I think it would fit really well...
...If Mine-Imator was a generic 3D animation program.
Which it isn't; it's a Minecraft themed 3D animation program. Also, personally, i think the top in each of these columns is the best icon for each software:
SpoilerThey're tied to minecraft while showing what they are.
A world importer, a section of a world,
a crafting table with props and stuff in it,
a crafting table (ties it to MI) being broken into chunks (since you can use modelbench to make models like that).
