Anyone got an idea for a short animation? I want to get back into animation but any time I try to make animations I never finish. I do seem to finish quick ones though.

why would you need better computer?
There are two ways you could do this:
1. Send the finished animation to someone with a better computer to render out then send back to you.
or
2. You could render in layers.
eg. Render the background with low quality settings. This works even better if the background is blurred. as you can get away with extremely low settings
then remove the background and any lights that don't contribute to the the foreground (or where the focus is) then render that with high quality and stick them both together.
Note that this probably wont work too good with foreground blurring.
Also, what could be so resource intensive? A billion particles or something?

My brother just moved into the basement (because he pretty much always sleeps down there) and I moved into his room since it's bigger. I got to keep his desk which is way bigger than mine. Yay!

Anyone got an idea for a quick and simple animation? I feel like animating but I don't wanna pour a bunch of time into an animation that I'll most likely quit working on.

So I finally fell asleep, my dog wakes me up by running around two hours later. And wouldn't you know, ANOTHER BAT! This is the third year in a row this has happened. They seemed to coming in October though. I have no idea where they could be coming from.

I've noticed that since I tried making more realistic animations, I've paid a lot more attention to movement in things. Mostly humans.

I just ate a starburst and a tooth came out. Totally unexpected. I never pulled at it. I have 2 ones that I've messed with before. Yet this one was out of nowhere... weird... But hey! Free money!

Anyone know important things to have in a computer? I'm trying to build one but I want to make sure I have parts that'll last me a while and can run games smoothly. I barely know anything about computer components.

Well, you're going to want a good Graphics Card and more than six gigabytes of RAM.
I'd suggest investing in a SSD for your most important programs so they run fast, and you'll also need a nice CPU with a matching motherboard.
There's more to it than that. You should conduct some research.

Got so much money for my birthday. Planning on buying a computer. Anyone know a good company (besides Ironside) that lets you customize a PC to your liking? I have a couple builds on Ironside so far. Trying to find out more though. Suggestions would be nice.
