Boy, I really feel bad for all of those peaceful protesters who have to deal with the national guard for no conceivable reason.

the only reason I took the Windows MR one is because I couldn't use the others. Gear VR is ok, but I'm not going to go buy a specific-brand phone when all I want is a VR headset. as for Oculus Rift... it's awesome! unfortunately, my PC isn't. The minimum requirements are unreachable, so at the very least it would be incredibly laggy. but for Windows MR, it's the most affordable for me, it doesn't need a bunch of other stuff, and when I researched more, I found out that my PC has the perfect specifications to run it! and yes, I know that the controllers aren't the most comfortable, but I have also heard a lot of praise for it, and of course it can run MC no problem.

so yeah.

@EnderFrameStudios TM Yeah, I noticed. @Spontaneous Explosions I'm guessing you didn't like it because of the weird speech bubbles and the text "sound effects"?

I just didn't like the feel and look of it. It's choppy, and animated at like 12 frames per second.

@Spontaneous Explosions Yeah, I get that. I guess the whole point of it was to be unusual, though. The idea was to combine a bunch of different animation styles, so that it was sort of halfway between realistic and stylized.

If you get anything, you gotta get a desktop. Laptops are small and easily portable, but you can upgrade and replace components in a desktop, instead of having to buy a whole new thing practically ever year.

Yeah. I agree with that. Also, pretty much all laptops I've seen have a maximum of an RTX 2060, if I remember correctly. Really, most of what I'm worried about with a desktop is the construction process, since I've had no experience with that. And I don't want to get one prebuilt, since it will likely end up being more money for less quality.

Still, though, I bet there are a ton of pc-building YouTube tutorials out there, so at least I don't need a manual.

Also imo I absolutely hate the animation style of MC Dungeons. Limbs seem to just dislocate and fly around wherever they want and it just looks so cursed.

And yeah, I'm not saying the fact that it was AR was the flaw, that easily could've worked.
The major flaw was the fact they essentially gated one of Minecraft's core mechanics behind a time-wall.

@__Mine__ I actually kind of like the animation style. It seems more true to the base game- it does have bending, but only rarely and only 90 degrees. It is quite sloppy, though, and while I do try to do something similar with my renders (and sometimes animations) it's not exactly the same. And yeah, I don't like the "floaty-limbs" part.

p.s. @MojangYang yes, i think hytale does look like 3D terraria, but i do not consider that a flaw. mostly because terraria has connected textures and trees that don't look blocky, which i like.

Can't find any flaws with head tracking.

the controllers get a bit buggy if you take them fully out of view, but this is because WMR uses cameras for controller tracking and it's kinda unavoidable on any WMR headset. It's also barely even a problem, since you rarely ever need to put a controller behind you.

but roomscale is simply amazing. it requires no base stations, just a setup that takes less than 2 minutes. It can also be reset at any time. It is completely unobstructive, just showing a transparent boundary when your controllers or headset get too close to a wall. And even though the cord isn't very long, for most applications, it doesn't need to be.

also, just checked again. The current (limited time!) discount for a Samsung Odyssey+ at the official dell website is only $230. That's less than some of the Amazon prices for the Lenovo Explorer.

Zyn that sounds very biased

Being a free and open source program, Blender can achieve just as much as C4D, 3DS and Maya. Recent updates and changed to the UI made it very easy and intuitive to use. They also have a large and well established community.

I mean, ok, C4D could be somewhat better, has somewhat more photorealistic render engines. But does that even matter here? Is it relevant? Draco is sharing his 3D creations, not comparing softwares. And is that tiny improvement worth it for 100$/month?

Oh, and why are you even here then? I mean, mine-imator is free and it's far from as good as blender and even further from C4D. Go rent C4D then.

They said deep dark biome will not take up everything below y0, there will also be other types of caves. But I think they said grimstone will still be everything below y0(if I understand correctly)

i'm fine now tho, and i know how to deal with them, so it didn't go as badly as it could have. my headaches are usually caused by either low blood sugar or dehydration, so a sugary drink and a painkiller nullifies most of the worst of it.

HTTYD is over. The movies were amazing, and the shows were okay I guess. But it's over.

They really sent it out with a bang.  I hope they don't make any more. You can have too much of a good thing. 

@Spontaneous Explosions though i am hoping that they do another series like Race to the Edge that shows what Hiccup was up to between movies 2 and 3.

They'v pretty much said they're done with the series. Plus, hardly any time passed between 2 and 3. I imagine all that went on was them being bad at raiding, and filling up Berk with dragons.

I spent all my money on Xbox one X's and new computers and nintendo switches. There was no funds for such pleasantries. 

It only works on my wifi only ipad!

I can also get it on my android phone, but every time I log in, it asks for the permission to access my location. But I clearly allowed it! I tried reinstalling it and updating my phone but it still doesn't work.

@MicrogamerCz well they've kinda taken over 1.12 too, that's also the most compatible with resourcepacks, and there have been updates to modding APIs to give 1.14 more mods.

still, my favorite modpack ever is direwolf20 1.7.10. so yeah.

One of my favourite mods is Traincraft (last compatible version: 1.7.10). I won't play newer version of Minecraft until Traincraft will become compatible to newer versions.
