Sadly I don't think light goes through partially see through objects (alpha 0.001-100%). Your best bet is ot make separate light sources in the house.

@Juno Well, from what I see from the angled shot, it seems like there is a smaller second layer under it. It seems out of place as most of it is curved.in my opinion
