    I've noticed the Race of the year thing a few days ago, then why we don't bring attention to The sideshow?

    Made this since @Shoony and I joined around the same time in the forums and we've made quite a reputation in here. (also this is not a war declaration, just some thing i wanted to brought up lol, we are in good terms)

    Its almost December, meaning were almost on the verge of leaving the year, so here's some stuff I've made in the past month or two.

    ^^ [Body for a Asgore model I've so far scrapped, couldn't get a good idea for the limbs] ^^

    [will not be made public for the good of humanity.]
    I dunno what happened to my style but one of these days i just... started doing better? better shading, better modeling, I'm proud of myself

    Unfortunately life is not that simple, things don't magically materialize by thinking about them hard enough, you actually have to sit down, grit your teeth and do the work. Becoming advanced with GML and eventually joining the dev team (currently only Nimi) may be a good start to realize the things you mentioned. Of course you are free to leave suggestions to Mine-imator but do remember that just dreaming won't make things happen, this goes for all areas in life. ?

    Hi.

    I'm sure some people are probably wondering where I've been and why I've been going on these "little" frequent hiatuses from the Forums

    For the longest time now, I've not really fit well into the Forums' Community.
    I often found more success showcasing my creations via other means like Twitter, Discord, Or YouTube, As anyone can find those posts, Mine-Imator user or not.

    And honestly, I never really felt much of a connection with anyone I met exclusively here.


    So with that being said
    This is pretty much the last minor post I'll be making here for the foreseeable future

    I do have up and coming projects bigger than just some small renders and such, And I will post those here, But you'll no longer be getting these kind of Posts.

    Haven't seen you here in a while.
    In my honest opinion, I feel like the massive amount of limb dislocation really doesn't fit in here. It's the only thing stopping this from looking like a perfectly-recreated in-game screenshot.

    Hello everyone! It's been a while since the last dev update, and I'm sure you have questions about the update and what's taking so long, so let's start with answering that.
    What's taking so long?
    In the previous dev update, I mentioned that I was working on "Inventory", the new UI for Mine-imator. This ended up taking a while to finish and pushing back when I planned to start on optimizations for rendering. I've since finished optimizations and now wrapping up any final graphical features for the update.

    A change of plans
    As many of you know, the "Caves & Cliffs" update for Minecraft has been split into two parts. This delay in the second half of the update will give me more time to further refine the update and improve areas where the program lacks, like animation. This of course will result in a delay of the update into next year, Mine-imator's 10th anniversary.

    The Anniversary Update
    With this new delay for the update going into Spring 2022, I've decided to rebrand the next major update from "Mine-imator 1.3" to "Mine-imator 2.0: The Anniversary Update". With overhauls to graphics, UI, and eventually animation (?), both david and I believe this update is deserving of the 2.0 title. I can't say for sure what new features will be coming in the next coming months for the update, but I'm sure the update will be worth the wait.

    It would be pretty cruel to end the update with nothing to show, especially with how long its been since the last dev update. So here's some early previews of what's in store. Do note that things are still subject to change in development and the following may/may not be final. ?
     
    That about wraps this dev update up, I doubt anyone was hoping for a delay on the update, but I hope these exciting announcements offer plenty of hype for what's still to come!
