What the heck is even going on here? Its absurd.
Voicing your opinion on a rig Is one thing, but some of you seem to saying he made it wrong.
As if there's some sort of 'correct' way to make a pie in Mine-imator.
The guy made a rig, and if you don't like the way he made it get over it and move on with your life.

Minecraft is so inconsistent in it's style that this fits fine. This looks fantastic actually.

Guys why did you fight over a rig anyways? Its created by the players idea. They can create in the style they like and nobody can judge their opinion. Sure maybe you dont like it but the creator does. It doesnt make sense for you to argue over a simple rig. Its just a piece of imagination in their style. Dont blame others because they created something you disagree with because of the facts from minecract. Just forget it. Its crazy to fight over a rig cause you dont like it (unless it was inappropriate but this isnt its just a pie)

Imagine being so against one thing not precisely being in the Minecraft style that you bash on the work to the point of making the creator feel terrible and regret posting it, while additionally mass-downvoting everyone who even dares to disagree with your harshness.
No wonder people consider this community to be toxic. Hope you're real proud of yourselves.

I made a Pie model, simple as that.
Includes Alt Textures for Various pies (or you can make one yourself.)

Minecraft's in-game pumpkin pie is round in the texture so your point makes no sense. Not everything has to be exactly minecraft, geez, let people explore some styles freely without nitpickings things like this. It's a good looking rig.
I'd rather use this rig than a square pumpkin pie ngl.

This just doesn't fit with minecraft. Minecraft isn't a voxel game, and this pie model is very voxelized and has a high surface count. It just doesn't match anything.
Here's a good reference to go off of when it comes to modeling round objects.

I've tried to import a Minecraft map in 9 different parts, 300 blocks long and wide for each ones, and this is the result :
    Rendered with MI 1.2.7
    No editing

    Download in 8k
The map seen from above : with or without depth of field
Link to the Minecraft map : https://www.planetminecraft.com/project/custom-mesa-cliffs-terrain/
These renders are gonna be remade when MI 1.3.0 will be released

Hello everyone, and hope you're all doing well!
It's been a while since the last dev update, a lot of crazy stuff has been going on in the world since then. However despite the madness, I still found time to work on the next exciting update for Mine-imator! Not much progress has been since then, but I figured I would show off some things I've been working on. The renders featured in this dev update were made by @Keep on Chucking.
    Volumetric fog
For those who have seen the last dev update, I showed off the new volumetric rays. Originally, I wanted to make the rays a proper volumetric fog with sunlight scattering through. After revisiting this feature this past Summer, I've upgraded them to a proper fog effect! This effect can be used alongside the default fog included in Mine-imator and there will be an option to switch back to the volumetric rays shown in the previous dev update.

    Indirect lighting / SSGI
New shadows? Improved ambient lighting? There no way lighting can get any better.. can it?! It can. Introducing: Indirect lighting, a secret ingredient among many to making your lighting really pop in your scene by allowing direct lighting to be casted from bright objects automatically, and allowing light to bounce from objects directly lit by light sources and tint the surrounding area! This feature really brightens your scene up and makes lighting a lot easier to set up. However, due to being a screen space rendering technique, the effect will only work with lit objects that are visible to the camera.

    Inventory
After overhauling the rendering in Mine-imator, I'm now onto integrating the rebrand in Mine-imator. Inventory is the name @Voxy has decided on for the slick design language Modelbench uses and what Mine-imator will eventually receive in the next major update. This process will take a while, as Mine-imator's codebase is arguably bigger than Modelbench's. In the meantime, if you have any questions concerning the new interface, feel free to drop them below in the replies for Voxy to answer in an upcoming Q&A post!
That's all I've got to show for now unfortunately! While things may be moving at the pace of a snail, I'm afraid things won't speed up any time soon since I'm the only developer working on this update after all, and I have a part-time job and doing full-time college. However there's no need to fret, as Voxy and I are trying our best to make this the best update we can possibly (and reasonably) make it. Until next time, keep on animating.
Oh, and of course, one last thing...

Spontaneous Explosions got a reaction from CraftyFoxe in Mine-imator will not open.
For at least the past 3 days I can't open Mine-imator(1.2.6).
When I try, it gives me this error:
    Win32 function failed: HRESULT : 0x80070057
Call: GR_D3D_Device->CreateTexture2D at like 522 in file \TexturesM.cpp
Followed by these consecutively after pressing 'ok' on each
I Googled it, and it has to do with 3d textures.
Then I tried running MI 1.2.6 from Gamemaker, and I get this error:
Attempting to create a texture of size 32768 x 32768 in SetupD3DTexture, this is bigger than the maximum allowable dimensions (16384)
So yeah, it definitely has to do with the textures.

Here's the crash log, although I don't think it helps. But hey, Idk.
And before you tell me to:
    I rebooted.
    I reinstalled MI.
    I updated my graphics drivers.
I uninstalled and reinstalled my graphics drivers.
    I updated Windows.
I ran MI with High Performance Nvidia Processor.
I scoured the internet for solutions, not finding any.

    So...Help?
And again, this only started occurring just about 3 day ago.
I hadn't changed any settings on my pc.

Would it be possible to make zclipping issues better? When I want to for example put a poster in a wall, the poster is supposed to be a surface that is sitting right next to the wall. And I have to leave an space that is too wide between the wall and the poster, otherwise it starts zclipping at a distance. I have to manually move the poster closer or further from the wall depending on the position of the camera to avoid zclipping which is hell. Apply this to any surface or block sitting on top of other, like eyes or eyebrows in heads and so on.

There is literally no reason what so ever to downvote this post, it just brings the posters mood down, they just asked a question, that's it.
