      He was a dog that I never fell that attached to, unlike my other dog. He belonged to my Uncle, whose in his apartment nextdoor, having time alone.

      And I knew beforehand that he was not going to make it through the day, he was already blind and coughed up a blood clot after previously coughing up blood throughout my uncle's entire apartment. Everyone in our house knew that he wasn't going to survive today.

    We had our Veterans Assembly today and a veteran openly announced through our microphone that it was his first time being invited to a Veterans Day Assembly in the 19 years since he retired from the Military and he broke out crying.
