@SDWAN I've used it at lemme tell ya:
Advantages:
- The interface is more user friendly.
- The particle effects are rendered in 3D. They can be manipulated with 3D planes and some knowledge allowing for (in my opinion) the most advanced effects you can get for a mere video editor.
- Has some pretty good tutorials for those interested in learning the program which is made by the creators
- Can be free if you simply want the express version (Doesn't come with the usual effects, but you can always get 3rd party effects/plugins similar to after effects)
- Cheaper
Disadvantages:
- It's GUI is more unusual to navigate through for those who have used programs similar to Vegas, Primere, etc.

The express version is free, but severely gimped compared to it's pro counterpart
- This does not apply for Hitfilm 4 Express. Hitfilm 4 actually has half of all the effects in Hitfilm 4 pro.

Hitfilm is honestly not designed as an all-in-one editor. (Though the brave can use it that way if they wanted to) It should be used like After Effects with Primere and have the basic editing, keying, and frame-by-frame work be done in one editor, and then head to the second program for the final pass.
- TL;DR Use vegas first, and then rwad the editor timeline to Hitfilm.

So I've been sick since Saturday with a real nasty virus. I didn't finish my no-bends collab entry on time because of that, so I'll probably release it as it's own animation after I add some stuff to it.

I have a finished animation that I'm editing, and I'm having trouble finding places to add music. This is why I need the new update, so I can build parts of my animation around music. Other then that it's hit or miss.

@Avalon The title of the series is a bit morbid, yes, but it was fun to make... at the time.

Self Harm was a series created by me and Sirfufferb0t known as Upgraded Moon Productions now. We thought it would be a pretty funny idea to have it where you fight your character vs. a previous version of your skin/rig. Thus giving it the name... self harm, because... you're fighting and hurting yourself. Yeah you get it.

Looking back through some of my incredibly old text documents, I had a pretty screwed up imagination. But a nack for song writing! Also I'm assuming that I got some outside help from somewhere, how else would I know what a cease and desist was?
(Edited of course to fix spelling errors and grammar mistakes, as well as maybe I changed a word to sound better)

But do you recall
The most unoriginal reindeer of allRahdolph the copied reindeer!
Got a cease and desist.
Due to the awesome rodolph,
he could not exist!
So Ralphy went on a rampage
And burned down a small town
But he was caught in a bear trap
So he swore he'd bring them down.Then one foggy Christmas Eve,
Rahdolph then escaped
He snuck up behind old santa claus
And stabbed him with a stake!Then he lined up the others
And took them out with glee
Rahdolph the copied reindeer
You'll go down in HISSSTOORYYou know Dasher and Dancer and Prancer and Vixen,
