Hi. So, if you've been checking out what I've done in the last couple days, I made a character rig that has nothing to do with Minecraft. So, I made a blank-slate version for anyone who wants it. Note that this may be a bit difficult to animate with, and to edit what I have put in place will be a little bit finicky. It doesn't come with the face or any changes to the outfit. There is also no hair, so you'll have to make that yourself.

Tips for Use:
Several folders in the rig are locked. Past once you can get to the main animatable parts, the rest is just aesthetic. Don't mess with anything that has a blank name unless it's a folder or you want to customize the rig. The bends in this rig are not actually real, and instead use a second cube to control the bend, parented to the first.


Tips For Customization: 
Don't even try with something like a 3D facial rig, even if it uses the alpha glitch method. More squares in the face does NOT look good at all, not unless you stylize the rest of the rig to look a bit more minecrafty. Instead, try using surfaces with custom textures to do it. If my custom textures for the face are requested, then I will follow through by adding them as a download :)
Nothing else. If you know how to rig, you should be set!

I think I'm gonna type in this font. Okay, so I have been rigging a lot lately. If you haven't seen the rest of the house rig, one of my statuses has it. In that state, it's unfinished, but as of now, rooms are only yet to be decorated with furniture and custom-made rigs. :3

People here are dwelling on the fact that you asked for likes in the title of the video, or that you chose to name it "Wolf Life", but ignoring the fact that you asked for feedback.
While there's not a whole lot of substance to this animation, especially since it's only a couple seconds long, I'll do my best do give you some constructive tips. For example, the camera movement is pretty jerky, try using different transitions to make it move more smoothly. There's lighting in the scene, but it's not on the characters and only distracts from the action, so try changing the light to focus more on the characters. Animation-wise, I think it's okay, nothing special. Maybe try having the dog do a howling movement when it howls?
Just keep practicing and eventually you'll gain a good understanding of animation. I couldn't agree more with what @AnxiousCynic said about it:

Make what you want to make, and don't worry about what people think. Basic animations like this are good practice, anyway.

As I was working on my next big animation I realized that I surprisingly managed to animate 2 minutes in the project in less than a month, *PHEW*, and even if it's not that much, I think I'm getting somewhat faster in getting animations done. To reward StickyMations for his SUPER INCREDIBLE UNBELIEVEABLE MILESTONE, I made this little thing for myself ;C
 
 
So before I go back to working on my big project, I gotta say that this is my first time messing around with HitFilm which I gotta thank @KaryuGraphics for gifting me the premium version, I swear I'm not able to say "thank you" enough times.
And yes, I love Groot's dancing and the background song "I Want You Back". I had to animate Sticky singing along with it because I just can't stop listening to the song.

Details:
This rig comes complete with a 3D sword, a 3D shield, 3D body detail rigging, 3D arm detail rigging, 3D leg detail rigging, 3D hair, eye rigging, and a DANG SNAZZY HAT. There is no mouth however, but that shouldn't be an issue because the only sounds Link makes is random grunting, so no real lip syncing would be necessary.
I've tested this in animation and it IS animation friendly. The only issue I have seen of it see far is when you bend the body backwards, it can mess up a bit.
However, I put a lot of effort into this rig, and that was one thing I just couldn't really fix. On the contrary, I've made the hat very easy to animate, but I will elaborate on that in a bit.
The hat made of cubes was an aesthetic choice, as I was trying to keep a Minecraft-esque style going, so I didn't want to use cones or cynliders or anything.

Animation Tips for this Rig:
When you wish to make Link use the Master Sword, just duplicate it and/or re-parent it to his hand. Same goes for the Hylian Shield.

In the rig there are several folders that are locked with blank names. This means they are simply aesthetic additions. If folders are locked, but are named, it means you should open them and then use what's inside the folder instead of the folder itself.
To animate the hat, expand the "Link's Hat" folder, parented to the head, completely, and then select all of the segments of the hat that aren't locked, and rotate them all the same amount. This creates a nice and easy curve, because each one inherits the rotation of the one before. There may be a little bit of fine tuning needed, but it's not too bad.

Whipped this up in a few days, just wanted to do a animation and I asked around on discord servers. And someone wanted me to do a parkour animation, being one who somehow lost all motivation to a person who basically has now a ton of motivation went to work.
So, here is the output.
(And yes, I did make my character trip on nothing for comedic effect)
