  1. People here are dwelling on the fact that you asked for likes in the title of the video, or that you chose to name it "Wolf Life", but ignoring the fact that you asked for feedback. While there's not a whole lot of substance to this animation, especially since it's only a couple seconds long, I'll do my best do give you some constructive tips. For example, the camera movement is pretty jerky, try using different transitions to make it move more smoothly. There's lighting in the scene, but it's not on the characters and only distracts from the action, so try changing the light to focus more on the characters. Animation-wise, I think it's okay, nothing special. Maybe try having the dog do a howling movement when it howls? Just keep practicing and eventually you'll gain a good understanding of animation. I couldn't agree more with what @AnxiousCynic said about it: If you want to learn more about animation theory, I highly recommend watching this video and trying to apply the principles in your own animations https://youtu.be/uDqjIdI4bF4 Good luck with your endeavors!
  2. Absolutely fantastic movements, you've definitely got a solid understanding of animation. Just improve smoothness a bit
  3. Only thing wrong with this is them low-rez shadows, otherwise I have nothing to comment on
  4. A little too much stretch on the executor guy, but otherwise good

  6. Smooth is not the same as fluid. His animations flow into one another because he uses linear. I use linear almost exclusively because it gives you full control similar to using a graph editor. Also, often when ease in and out transitions are used, the move comes to a complete stop at each keyframe, absolutely destroying flow.

  8. Cool to see someone using my rig well funny video, well done
  9. He connected the two arm segments using an actual, scaled-down "arm" object, so it could bend properly
  10. If everything is happening at once, people don't know what to focus on. Here's a video on staging, one of the 12 principles of animation: Aside from that, your physics are pretty off. If something going up is affected by gravity, it should get slower, and at its peak it should start falling. Try throwing a real object up into the air and observe how it moves, and base your animation off of that. Edit: Just remembered there's another principle of animation that can help you here: Arcs!
  11. Well what do you know! The new rule was added :D I'm glad, and I'm done changing my avatar. Just hope I can maybe get the warning points removed in the future :P

Big thanks to Emunator for considering the rule change! :D

  13. @Emunator has given me 5 warning points and @Nimi has given me 3 over breaking a rule that doesn't exist. Having your profile picture as a "BANNED" picture is not against the rules of the forums, and my entire point in doing this is that it should be added to the rules. I do not deserve these warning points. I messaged Emunator about it but I'm not certain they even read my PM fully, so I will post it here. I made my entire point in here. At this point, the number of warning points that should be removed from me is 8.
  14. Just got 3 more warning points for breaking a rule that doesn't exist :)

  15. Just got 2 more warning points, boys.

  16. What the heck is with moderators nowadays? I made my profile image a blatantly fake picture that just had "Banned?" in a much different font than the real banned image and yet it was still removed.

It's back now, and if a moderator is going to give me a warning point, that is stupid because having a "Banned" profile picture is not against the rules of the forums.

@Joshdotmp4 That's true, they should add it as an official rule. You can message a mod about adding it in the rules.

No actual warnings over an unwritten rule leading to 3 warning points seems a bit excessive.

  17. i feel like I just got 3 warning points unjustly. There is nothing in the official rules that states you can't have your profile picture as the "Banned" profile picture

    1. Joshdotmp4

      Joshdotmp4

Also, the last 2 of the warning points were issued before I even acknowledged the first, so what the heck

  18. Everyone is getting fooled. We don't know he's banned, he just changed his profile picture. Wait to hear from a moderator before jumping to conclusions

  19. As has been said by others before me, it's too obvious that you're using the same transition over and over here. The main issue coming from using transitions is that is it's ease in and out, it always comes to a complete stop every keyframe, before the next movement. I personally just use linear and manually create the transitions I want by adding and spacing keyframes as I see fit. More flexible that way.
  20. Looks like the forums staff is deleting content concerning beastgamer at this point. My last status was removed

  21. The animation is good, the post-processing effects are not. The motion blur is distracting and the tilt shift blur is just out of place.

  23. The idea for animation is to use reference images to determine how to realistically pose your character. Alternatively, you can strike the pose yourself (in real life) and translate that into animation. This is how real life people draw bows.
  24. So excited for Mario Odyssey

@Paul Sheldon I'm super glad I managed to get one. The new Zelda has been incredible and I have no doubts that Mario Odyssey will be fantastic, and being able to take it on the go is super neat
