If that was possible it'd've been ported long ago.

It's possible, and could be done if they wanted to, but David and Nimi don't find it worth it to put all that work into a Minecraft animation program when David already plans to make a whole different animation program in C++ of a much more serious nature. Nimi could do it, but again, it'd be a lot of work for a program that works fine as is. It's not that it's impossible, it's that it's unnecessary.

I'm very confused about how this goes. please explain

You step in line, and then after everyone has gone before you (it's common courtesy to tag you when it's your turn), you can add what you want to the wallpaper using the project file the previous person sent. Keep it small so there's enough room for other people; people usually just put their OC in some pose. Then you save a copy of the updated project file, and the wallpaper itself, and post them both here for the next person.

I don't think I'll join this time, too busy. Just wanted to clarify what it is.

  3. I think the pose could use a little more time in the oven. Maybe move him to the side a little, try turning on the rule of thirds lines on the camera preview, that could help. Maybe move his legs into some kind of dominant stance that makes him look like he would zap someone if he had to. I would also move the camera a little lower, to make him feel larger and more ominous. I would also tilt it slightly to give a feeling of uneasiness and creepiness. Another thing, his scythe is a differently sized texture than he is. It would look more consistent and maybe smoother if either his skin was higher definition, or the scythe was a lower definition (If you change his skin texture to a higher definition you'd need to do the same with the sword, since it's the same size as the skin).

Keep at it! Excited to see what you come up with in the future.

Idk is it even possible to implement this option because the light theme burns my eyes... (Exaggeration)

Of course this could be a toggle-able option but what I'm asking is, Is it possible.

It is possible, someone would just have to make a new dark color scheme, which I'm not sure if anyone would be willing to considering the light theme is still the IPBoard default.

  5. If by voxels you mean making a new block part for every pixel, please don't do that. Item sheets will always be way easier. Modelbench is a great program though. A little more time consuming to texture, but a lot more options.

By the way, anyone reading, the Tips and Advice for New Forumers link in my signature has a tutorial for the item sheet method.

Shhh, it's not a self-plug if KindZax wrote the tutorial.

  6. So Vegas Pro has a feature that lets you place orange markers on your timeline, as sort of notes for your personal memory. I whipped up some quick examples here.

These markers are obviously fake but that's pretty much what I normally use them for: reminding myself of important points in the animation and some things I need to add/fix.

I realized that a similar feature would be really helpful in Mine-imator itself, and I threw together a mock-up of what it might look like.

Essentially you'd be able to add such markers with the little flag button I made in 10 seconds and give yourself reminders. You could also package this with a rig or animation preset you made for additional info when people download it. For example, if your rig cycles through some preview poses. It would especially be helpful for a little project I'm going to be working on.

    Hopefully it's considered.

  7. Go into your system's settings and find out which graphics card you have. It should start with Nvidia or AMD or Intel. All you need to do is search on the internet for the "nvidia drivers" or the "amd drivers". Download the latest version suggested by their websites and you should be good to go.

  8. While it's not an animation, that mistake isn't nearly enough for a dislike from me - you didn't even post it in the animation category, the rig does look fine. It could use some variations in texture, maybe a custom painted wood-like texture to slap on the outside. The model itself is definitely decent, I'm curious to see what else you can do.

Don't let dislikes discourage you, they're just a number. And when you do make something great, it overruns the dislikes twofold. Whatever you do, keep making things. Continuing to make things is the best way to fix existing problems and to get better at doing it.
