toaster1 reacted to SKIBBZ in Custom Girly Player Rig(Private)
Hmph. Give this person some slack, sure the rig may not look entirely like the female rig you were expecting but that doesn't give you the right to treat it like trash. He's a new guy/girl, we've all been there once.

Okay so I had the idea of doing this when Blox showed me his new rig pack (a hat rig pack) and I started doing it.

4K version
All rigs made by @BloxTheRigger
excepted the water bottle in Mooshim's hand that I made myself.

toaster1 reacted to Emunator in Mine-imator Fullscreen Mod [1.0.6]
I got bored during the forums downtime and made a Fullscreen Mod for Mineimator.
Very easy, and it makes animating abit more focused, I also saw 7 topics for suggesting Fullscreen in MI.
To use, simply press F7 to put it in and out of Fullscreen. (The others above are taken)
I'd show a screenshot but...that'd be pointless as you can imagine...

toaster1 reacted to Voxy in Mod Request(?) - Glow effects (with explanations)
Hey guys. Glow is a feature that's been suggested quite a lot, and that was even considered to be added in 1.0.0, but... unfortunately, this isn't the case. However, with the source code being available for everyone, I managed to come up with a hypothetical method that, according to David, could potentially work. But since I have no coding experience, I was thinking that some experienced coder out here could do it.
My method is based on what Mine-imator uses to render depth of field. Basically, the program will take the initial frame and create a blur passe by duplicating the frame and diverging those duplicates and merging them together. Then, it uses a depth map to restrict the blur effect to a particular zone, defined by the DoF settings:
For glow effects, I'm thinking about using something similar. Basically, it'd involve having a passe of the object that has the glow effect enabled that'd be tinted based on the color the player uses. That passe would then be blurred using the same method as used by DoF, by diverging a bunch of duplicates. Finally, the resulting glow passe would be merged with the initial render passe to create the final rendered image. c:
This is the most efficient way to do it I could think about, it doesn't seem too difficult to implement, as this is based on an existing feature, and it wouldn't be much laggier than depth of field! So, if there's anyone who can code, maybe you could give it a try?

toaster1 reacted to Nickolias in Story of a Skeleton and a Bow
Around the beginning of the year I began working on a test animation as I like to call it. The idea came from making a skeleton rig for someone that wanted a movable jaw, so I ended up doing way more than he asked for and made the bones solid as well.
I usually abandoned these before doing any actual work on it. But this time I didn't for some reason. I kept working on it a little bit (perhaps a few seconds) a week. And once I almost finished, I realized how bad Mine-imator's sound was. So after adding sound in a separate editor (Premiere Pro Trial). I finally finished it! I hope someone tears at me for being a horrible animator like you always do on here!

toaster1 reacted to Marten in Bendable slime rig V0.2
Hello folks! I've put together a bendable slime rig for anyone who needs it.
I posted this in the suggestion section on a thread called "Slime Bending". But I thought I would post it here aswell for everyone to see.
1. It's bendable.
2. It has "3D-ish" eyes. (Not really. .-.)
This rig was literally made in about 10 minutes, so you don't have to credit me if using it. (However do not claim that you made the rig or was a part of it.)
Here's a picture of it bending;
There's a problem with the bending since the upper halfs size doesn't rotate so the slime kind of turns into a happy meal. But I think you can do some interesting effects with that.
I couldn't add too much to the rig due that problem. I might remake it some day.
Here's the download link. vvv
