I made it. It's a flat plane with a custom texture on it.

Experimenting with trying to get cleaner lighting because shadow blur just doesnt really appeal to me all that much. I'm fully aware this has it's own problems but i'm still figuring out the best way to go about it.
  3. I was bored so I did another wallpaper. Looking at it now there are definitely some things I could add/tweak.
  4. I've been away from this for a while, but since i've got stuff in the works i figured i might aswell give walpapering a go again. And here's one that's less colour-corrected because i like them both
  5. Hey how's everyone doin' i just checked in to hang out for a bit i like this new stuff going on that's cool.

  6. I'm totally alive guys i swear i'm just really bad at finishing things

      Same here, dude.

  7. Beside the name, the wallpaper looks really well done. Perhaps some more interesting lighting could spice it up a bit, but it looks great regardless.
  8. It affects the density of the 'shadows' where two objects meet. If you look at an inverse corner with high SSAO you'll see it.
  9. Updated my Pixel art dump a little.

And i hope to do so more often.

  10. You must have incredibly bad internet, then. Loads pretty much instantly for me and i have super basic internet speed.
  11. While i don't quite like some of the changes, the actual texture work is very well done. It all seems like it could actually be official stuff. Except the birch but i mean who cares about birch amirite
  12. This is both (mostly) accurate and looks good. Although i feel DoF and some lighting tweaks would've helped.
  13. With proper lighting and a more accurate sky this could look stunning. Although i can't tell if you are actually using a skybox or just a static background image, because you never move the camera itself. (Unless you do, in that case it would be a background image.) Subtle camera movements with a skybox would add some gentle twinkling in the stars, which would look nice. As a side note, you should try making exhaust for those massive engines on the back of the capital ship (and the others of course). Using a few sheets textured with large blue-ish flames and arranging them to create a nice round-ish exhaust would be a pretty nice touch. Something like this if my explanation was bad;
  14. I, for one, would like to have a bad time.
  15. Neither Skibbz's or yours are any better than each other. Yours is simpler and plainer in terms of colour and depth. Skibbz's is more stylized and honestly is a better recreation of the source material. (In terms of sheer likeness with the posing and the framing and various other features. And yes, I am aware that the nobility in your version has blue hair and a crown.) However both are equally sub par. There's no improvement here. Anything you have done has been counteracted by the lack of similarity to the source and the bland lighting/noisy DoF/i could list problems for a while. There's no shame in editing. Infact, without editing, skibbz's wallpaper would likely have looked worse. My point is, Don't go hating on what people choose to do. Your 'improvement' is barely an improvement, (In my opinion, of course.) and you should just accept that some people prefer edited images. It's fine to dislike what Skibbz does. But when you try to re-do his work to prove a point it doesn't really shine on you well. 6 out of 10 work on your mood lighting and depth of field kthx.
  16. damn i didn't even announce it and i got 'Happy birthday's anyway.

    Thanks guys :D

Dont know you, but Happy Birthday!

  17. I must object. You see, the Triceratops had three horns. Two above it's eyes and one on the bridge of it's snout. This 'Triceratops' only has two horns. Therefore, it cannot be a Triceratops unless a devastating accident had happened and caused it's nose horn to be lost somehow. I recommend a name change to 'sexy Pachyrhinosaurus'.
  18. This is a really nice rigging style you have. It's more vanilla than most while still having enough depth to look good.
  19. Your template is the best imo. Easy to use with just the right amount of functionality.
  20. Haven't used Mine-imator for the LONGEST time, so i decided i'd give it another go. Here's a kinda dark wallpaper. Unedited:
  21. I should probably check on this place a little more.

    I just don't use mine-imator as much as i used to ._.

      i know that feeling, m8.

sometimes, i get motivated to play a game, then lose the interest, then some time later i get the interest to play it again, and lose interest in some other games, and the cycle repeats.

Yeah that happens to  me a lot too. I get bored of games really quickly if there's nothing completely new to do i them.

  22. You tried, but please at least get a grip on the program before you decide to post your work. You're not going to get helpful criticism on your first or second animations. Practice, watch some tutorials, study movement, learn the program. Get to a point where you can create decent animations. Then you can post them and we can help you improve even more.
  23. Full image of what i was timelapsing. It's the first bit of a comic i might do.

  24. I recorded a timelapse of me drawing. In case anyone wants to watch me draw for 6 minutes.
