  1. In today's image, I present siblings Jasper and Gavin taking a lovely walk. (They have also appeared in [Christmas] )
The building at the front to the right has only just been added, and I've been working on making the overall town more green, but it still has a ways to go. (I've barely started on the lower district, and there are still more districts to add)
Trapdoors have been removed from the lamps to make lighting a tad easier, but I think the lighting in this was still a bit of a miss.

    As a builder to builder.

    • The cobblestone is a bit overwhelming, try to use different types of rock my favorite is cobble, andisite, gravel, a bit of grass and stone buttons. It is always nice to implement some cobble stairs in the path if you don't want to change it.
    • The houses are good, but the house furthest away could have a bit more framework done to it.
    • There are alot of different plants in minecraft try using some flowers in the pots to add some more life to the town.
    • For the fountain furthest away you could make the frame around it something other than a square like cut the edges off or maybe make it a circle.
    • The roofs... On the bottoms of the stairs put more stairs to make it look smooth. Watch some Grian he has some awesome building tutorials also Louisdepoui has some great tutorials if you like the not so good known people on YouTube.
    • The bridge could be improved and maybe made of wood with spruce framework and some torches or glowstone on it.
    • There could be more greenery in the town.
    • The cobble walls could be a bit more round and they could be made of something that doesn't blend with the paths.
    • You could add some horse stalls or maybe those market cart thingys or a market wagon idk something that will make the town look more alive.

Welp that's what i found in the picture that bugged me. Fix these and the town will look much better.

Yeah, I've been working on making it less cobblestone-y, but I'm not really a fan of andesite, and at the same time I didn't want to switch it to having too much greenery.
I actually used to watch Grian fairly often, and agree he does have some great videos.
Over all, all of this is great advice that I'll keep in mind, thanks. ^~^

Thank you for being considerate and not taking my constructive criticism as an insult, If you want I can be your mentor :D

It was pretty clear that you weren't trying to be insulting, and constructive criticism is a valuable thing so it's hard to react rudely to it. ^~^

I like your wallpapers, but they are not memorable. Here's a tip for you, saturate your images a little bit more to give off a"vivid" style, and also make sure to open up a new layer apply an orange overlay using the paint bucket, then turn down the opacity to give it a "warm" glow. It can go a LONG way.

    Here's your image:

And here's your image again, but with a little more saturation, a orange overlay, some vignette a little sharpening....and...VOILA!

I was kind of going for a pale washed out look for this wallpaper as I am using it on my laptop currently and wanted a, 'calmer' not eye catchy image, but I totally get what your saying and will apply that to future wallpapers.
    Thanks for the advice~!

  6. I like the wallpaper, through it is admittedly very simple.

It's singlehandedly ending America's obesity epidemic though.

Not really, some obese people aren't playing it just because, 'I'm curvy not fat.'
And it's really of no help to obese disabled people unable to go out walking.
But hey, maybe the younger generation will grow up and encourage future generations into playing Pokemon Go, therefore making the future generation less prone to obesity?

Any accidents as a result of Pokemon Go says more about the stupidity of people, in my opinion.
Shouldn't it be obvious to have awareness of your surroundings?

I wasn't really aiming for realism.
I painted the clouds using photoshop so there is no download, sorry, glad you like them. ^~^

  8. A friend and I have been doing survival, so I decided to make a wallpaper, once finished with it, I thought I'd try editing it in a different program to what I usually use

    Original Image:

Image edited with Krita: (I seldom use Krita, so I'm pretty bad with it)

Photoshop version: (The only thing I really enjoy doing in photoshop is skies tbh)

  9. Used to go by the name Ryuzaki (Death Note, fam)
Switched to Izaya (Durarara!) and started using that name on everything, (minecraft username was IzayaRyuzaki at that point)
Joined a new site where just 'Izaya' was taken as a name, so I added an H, and it just kind of stuck.
So not much of a story to my username, I just like Durarara! cx

And yeah, I don't think this topic fits under roleplaying lol
