I think a lot more people prefer sharp bending due to it keeping the Minecraft feel.

So yeah its a tutorial about how to make a glow
okay, so first get your block that you want to glow (or item)
then duplicate it and parent it to the old one, and reset the position on the parented one
then on the parented one turn on blur texture and adjust the alpha on it.
now turn the brightness up on both and turn off cast shadows on both.
and then parent a point light to it and adjust that how you want

So I think I wanna mod Mine-imator so that you can animate with your friends on the same project! There will be a chat box so you can share your ideas and animate them! Or you can grab your phone and call them on skype so you can talk freely. It will help with team projects.
