How to trade in TF2:
> 7 day wait time because new advice
> 3 day wait time without authentication
> downloads steam app
> checks for assess code emailed to me
> logs in
> requires phone number
> sends text to phone number with code
> enters code
> another code for 'safety'
> wait another 7 days, authenticate at least once a week
> check for code EVERY TIME YOU LOG IN
> if other user in trade isn't authenticated, still wait 3 days
I think I'm done

Can any of you lads help a little with static point lights? I've got the colour all sorted, but is it better to have lots of duller lights to create even lighting, or fewer bright ones? Note that this is to be used and rendered in a game, not a wallpaper or such.

Yes I am familiar with hammer.
Your lights should not be embedded into a prop, but instead they should be just outside the prop. Like a lightbulb on the ceiling and the light in the center of the room.
Embedding a light in it's source causes a problem when it clips with it. You can also disable collisions on the light to fix it, but the lighting won't look too good that way.

So.. TF2. Weapons, maps. What do you guys like to see in a map - what gamemode, what sort of style? What class deserves a new weapon the most?

I'm having a kitkat

So how about them apples

Sorry if I did or said anything stupid last night, to those that were there.

I haven't roleplayed in months.... maybe even nearing a year at this point. I don't read anymore. I don't enjoy writing nowadays, either. And Ocey said she dreams of being an author.

6 bucks for this crappy, overly saturated TF2 update? You can't just throw countless skins at us and pretend that's good enough, Volvo.

@Emanatronic Not bug fixes. Weapon fixes. And as far as I know, the update is really bad*.
*I considered using the "h-word" there, but I thought I'd get a warning point.

I'm gonna ask a really deep question, out of curiosity, to see your opinions. I'm asking because there isn't a lot of personal bias here, and I hope I can get serious, honest answers: Can your first love be true love?

I would say yes, I even have a scenario. You get together with someone for the first time in your life (dating wise) but later down in life you break up; Than later in life you start dating that same person again and you end up being married, I would consider that something, they were the first person you ever had feelings for and in the end, you got married.
Oh and don't ask why I made a scenario, I just wanted to
-
It depends on a lot of different factors, personally I think true love would be defined by how unselfish it is. If a person had the strength to do what they knew was best for the person, even if it involved never seeing them again then that would be closer to truely loving them. Then again selflessness taken to far can be selfish to so the other side of it is being able to stand on your own without being dependent and to love the person without blindly sacrificing yourself for them even if it's bad for them in the long term. A first love is usually to blind and hopeful to have real depth so time and the process of maturing is important. However the modern world is toxic to true love, it makes everything a lot more complicated.

I've never been a Star Wars fan, or known anything about it, really - haven't seen any movies, read any books, I'm a total noob - but I'm considering watching The Force Awakens purely to confirm or disregard the Jar Jar Binks master-Sith-Lord-ruler-of-universe-theory. Should I, with next to no knowledge? I'm not down to watch the prior movies. xP

Because the prequels were complete crap.

So I just lost all of my music files, mashups, separated audio files, original digital songs, everything. No way to get them back. I quite literally want to die right now, this is the second time something like this has happened.

Parents and boyfriends. Not a good mix.

*Disclaimer: no flame pls* Undertale makes me really angry, for some reason. It's physically painful to me. Maybe it's the screeching music, or the flat dialogue, or the plain character sprites, but it just angers me beyond measure to think that this... thing... got so popular. I don't care about any of the characters - if anything I want them to all just die, there's no feels anywhere, and I don't care about our little Dora player, either.

If you want all the characters to die, Play the genocide run. I'll just mess up your game if you decide to do a Pacifist run later
Also.. Flat characters? Bad sprites? Serious? Have you even tried the game? XDDD
Trust me. Play the game with a non-biased mind. You wont regret it. You don't have to hate a game because it seems simple and is popular. At least give the damn thing a try or Watch a letsplay. ALL THE WAY THROUGH before you come crying to us.
And if you're making a game, Try and play the game and analyze what people likes so much about it. Looking at other's works are an enormous part of being a game designer.
