What's wrong with Mine-Imator? Why do my project file keep corrupting after I saved it??

It's not because of the installer itself, more that people tend to install it in a location MI can't read properly, such as their OneDrive or (depending on the user's folder permissions) their "Program Files" folders.
It's why I always use the .zip archive instead. Extracted it to a USB drive and I haven't had a single problem with it whatsoever, and since it's on a USB drive I can take it (along with all of my projects) to other PCs too without needing to re-install it every time.
The only real downside I can think of is that when MI updates, you have to manually transfer the project files etc. to the new version when updating MI since each version is a separate extracted folder instead of overwriting itself as the installer would do. However, updates to MI are infrequent enough for that to not be much of a problem.
Not sure why the installer is "recommended" when I feel that the .zip archive has more benefits imo

When you're animating a fight scene. Do you guys animate the offense(the attacking) first or the defense (the attacked) first?

I think that the existence of Mine Imator has made it easier for Minecraft animation enthusiast to make their own animation. Shame that MI users is not as many as other program users (Blender, C4D, Maya). Imagine if this animation program grow bigger to the point where people actually seriously want to create a real animation (such as story, one that give a meaning) rather than just a short, test animation. ( like mine lol)
What I mean is by the narrative one, like SKIBBZ made. He have made a lot of masterly animation with proper scripts, arrangement of story and meaning to the animation. What if we have more people like SKIBBZ? Imagine how advanced this community will be! Mine Imator will rise! More people will know about it! We could get to see many more epic animation! Childrens like it, the adults like it! Everyone will like it. But we don't need CHANGES. It is US who need to change.. We can't hope that other will do it. WE have to do it. Together, in this community.

I'm not saying it's a bad idea to try and get more narrative stuff out of the community, but it would take people to get some patience to watch an animation through and not nit-pick everything about it. If someone wanted to fix all the clipping, they would've. It's not like they say "oh clipping looks cool". Sometimes you just don't want to fix it, or can't fix it. If someone could fix a lighting glitch, they would've. Sometimes after working on something for months, you kinda run out of steam and don't want to fix the things only the nitpickers would point out.
