  1. Hello everyone, this will be my final dev update as we near 2.0's release. Mine-imator 2.0's development has been one of many challenges since its first pre-release last May, but it's finally coming to a close. On March 1st, the full release for Mine-imator 2.0 alongside Modelbench 1.1.5 will be released here on the Mine-imator Forums. We've decided to do a limited release of the update due to unforeseen issues with specific hardware and the new rendering/ C++ engine, and won't be promoting the update on the website. With the release of the much awaited 2.0 update, David and I will be leaving development of Mine-imator/Modelbench due to limited availability and wanting to pursue other projects. While active development will be over, patches may still come out if any critical/project-breaking bugs comes up but anything hardware or graphics related likely won't be fixed. The source code for Mine-imator and Modelbench will be updated accordingly on March 1st for any developers who want to mod the program and add their own features. David and I would like to thank everyone who's used the program and donated to us over the years, and we hope you enjoy using the program as much as we've enjoyed making it. We've both learned a lot these past 10 years working on this project, and it's amazing to see how the users have pushed the program with their creations. I don't know what project I'll be doing next, but I'll probably take a break from programming and focus on other life things. It's been a stressful, but fun ride y'all. From the Mine-imator Community Build, to Modelbench, to Mine-imator 2.0. / Nimi

  2. Anyone heard of the Game Retrowave? where you just drive with a car... well that's the game for relaxing, nothing better then that, and other then that, I am a Retrowave Sucker, I LOVE IT So I made something to just show it a bit more appreciation. Well... but that's not the only one... More is coming...

  5. In the early years, I had been looking for models of medieval carriages, and found that they were either not or not well done. So today, I made three carriages myself. I hope you like it.

  6. Hello everyone, as we near 2.0's full release I thought I'd release a cancelled update to the Mine-imator Community Build. (Based on Mine-imator 1.0.6, MICB 1.0.2.) This was cancelled for various reasons including crazy instability, overly ambitious, and with me switching priorities to creating Modelbench. I don't recommend using this for actual projects due to its many bugs, as I'm only releasing this for archival purposes. Most features and changes added in Mine-imator 1.2 -> 2.0 can be traced back to this project (New interface, materials, glow, etc.) and I didn't want to leave Mine-imator development until I was able to officially add back these features. (Nor did I want to cause fighting over if the mod or vanilla was better due to lacking these features.) I don't have an official changelog cause I never made one while developing this mod. Enjoy messing with this update that led to 2.0 being what it is. Between sessions you'll need to delete "settings.file" in the Data folder or else the program will crash on startup. (Also, don't report any bugs you find.) Download 1.1.0 (Jan 17th, 2017)

  9. Why not add Math to the scale/rotation/position number input? It would be actually kind of cool and very very practical, I usually need this is Modelbench, but if it makes its way into Mine-imator 2.0 why not Modelbench 1.1.5? Just like you enter "0.25/4" and it will just use the result as input "0,0625" Super practical!

  10. Gundam Buriden (my own gundam bash) May i introduce to you to Gundam Buriden, a model that i made by scratch (Inspired from Gundam Barbatos), I made the inner frame from modelbench (basically, a tall and modified steve model that i made it gray and give it more articulation) and use the rest of the exterior in Mine-Imator. It has tons of articulation, although there is a limit so that it doesn't look weird in any angle of the camera. Just like all mobile suits, of course i need to add a cockpit on the chest of Buriden. And again, it made from scratch. And just for fun, the thrusters on the back can move around (not the middle part) and can be added a blast effect for extra bit of heat. NOTE: THIS MODEL IS PRIVATE. SO YEA, IF YOU WANT IT... THAT'S A BIG NO, SIR. and i'm also sorry if the renders looks ugly, i'm too damn tired to do some lighting so give me a break

  13. Thank you very much to you Nimi for this wonderful project. I am very glad that you have released such a wonderful program. Honestly, thanks to you, I found my place. Before that, I tried myself in many ways on YouTube, but MI is what I was looking for. I couldn't even imagine that I would ever start doing animations on minecraft . I never thought that just some program would change my life for the better. I am insanely grateful to you because you work for us and do not even take money for such a huge project. Thank you again and I hope you will continue to make such wonderful projects. (If there are errors in the text, then I'm sorry, all this was translated through a translator)

  19. But if you want to use say a walking keyframe preset, where do you place the sword-IK thing so the keyframe preset works?

  22. Could you upload an example? I don't get it. I thought this was going to make this easier without having to resort to more hackery with folders and stuff.

  25. I don't understand at all how this works. So you use a cube that is not parented to the character to move the arm using IK. Well what happens when the character walks? the arm will move because the cube is static.
