      A Youtuber called TheMinebox occasionally makes a combination between machinima and Mine-Imator for Monster School videos, and honestly it is quite good despite being unoriginal since he actually puts effort in the scenery and animations. You should check it out.

  5. Making some 3D Block Rigs. I've done crafting table, cake, and dirt. Give me some suggestions for blocks to make more 3D. I will release the rigs when I have made at least 10.

      OK, I'll stick to external programs for now but I do hope the devs bring it back at some point.

  7. I've looked at some animations and wallpapers made in Mine-Imator, and quite a few of them have all the edges of everything slightly rounded (I think it's called bevelled edges). Is this done through Mine-Imator or an external program?

      I can't seem to find the artwork I was looking at before, but I hope you know what I'm trying to say. I've seen it in animations and artwork.

      You can't get real bevels in Mine-imator, it's just impossible. You can in other programs such as Blender Maya or C4D. @LIsPixel does that in their artwork, but you can't do it in Mine-imator. But there are paint.net filters that reconstruct the image out of circles, which makes corners and edges round if that's what you mean.

      That's what I do, except I edit accordingly. 

  9. I wonder if Mine-Imator will eventually become something that surpasses Blender for Minecraft animations.

      I myself have tried animating a gun in both programs, Blender looks way better.

      Oh yeah, Maya and C4D are great aswell, however I've noticed they need better hardware to run well.

  10. When animating, I find it very annoying that the bending and rotation of the body/arm/leg are both controlled on a single timeline. This makes it hard to make some sorts of animation. It would be amazing if the bending could be in a separate space so we can animate the rotation and bending separately.
  11. I've been having problems with the SFR V4. Whenever I bend the rigged characters body, one half of the mouth goes square but the other stays round. How do I fix this?

      Hi,

      What I would suggest is finding the "L_Smile or R_Smile" folder and moving the position of it forwards until its visible again. I'm not sure what is causing this issue, but if I update this facial rig again I'll be sure to look into it, thanks!

      That seems like a hassle to me. I've been battling this problem by just deleting the rounded edges on both sides of the mouth. That will do until the new SFR rig comes out (if a new one does).

  12. I've found a bug that is really bugging me (no pun intended). When I bend the body even just a little bit the left side of the mouth goes square but the right side stays rounded. How do I fix this?
  13. It is already at its lowest. That's a hassle though.
  14. I've fiddled with the settings and nothing seems to be changing it.
  15. So I've been playing around with settings to get some good sharp shadows as I hate blurry/soft shadows. The result was this strange shadow shape. How do I make the shadow more straight?
  16. I remember showing my family an animation of Steve waving. It was a 2 keyframe animation made in 0.6.2. My family thought I was the smartest person in the world. Good times.
