@9redwoods I think approach is the most important when it comes to learn Blender. I've also had giant troubles when learning from video tutorials, I think learning from the person is the most satisfying way and the results are better than just looking at and pausing videos.
Remember that Blender is hard yet powerful tool. Once you get know how to use it properly you can make pretty cool animations with it.
And yes, learning Blender isn't the only problem. You need to have a good computer. Otherwise it will lag, and trying to render something on a weak computer can cause damage or blue screen. So it's not a tool for everyone.
