Well any programming language is hard to learn (except Python I suppose), you just need to keep practicing. Game dev takes a lot of time. A shitton of time. Like you gotta spend years learning how to do it by making smaller things just to make that one big thing you dreamed of. For instance, I tried learning C++ and Unreal engine but I got overwhelmed because I just copy-pasted what the instructor put and didn't take the time to learn it all.

Also Unity is finicky in my experience. There's obviously a way to fix it but Unreal worked fine for me.
Also what are you using to learn Java? I'm looking into it myself.

Don't listen to Ethan. But you make editing sound like a necessity to being good at making a render and that's not entirely true.
Editing is only needed if you can't quite catch the feel you want in a render, photograph, etc. If you're able to pull off the certain vibe you're going for without whipping out the good ol' editing software. Then you're set. I'll use myself (as in me, not the user) as an example. I have never touched editing software for a lot of my renders because I have found ways to make things work with what I learned from the program. It's not for bragging rights, it's not to boast. It's just me using my methods to make a good render.

I think Reddit videos in general are just getting more popular, and when one gets old, they throw it out and find the next one. YouTubers also have a tendency to copy what is popular at the time (understandably) so every new subreddit gets a little surge of fame before being worn out and forgotten yet again.
I personally think r/entitledparents is a dumb subreddit to make reaction videos for but hey, if it pays it pays.

Grian made a good tutorial once I remember, and he's pretty epic style. 
Although, this is quite the build for a survival server (but not impossible, I was able to on a server I frequented). It also might not be your style.
I actually had a base inside a mountain back when Ethan had a realm. Took a lot of digging but basically I just had a staircase down to a big cavern, and a wooden bridge going over a big hole with magma blocks on the bottom (Niety fell down hehehe). There were also snow golems on either side to make it more intimidating I guess. After you crossed the bridge it was just a simple door and a pretty tightly-spaced, normal base. Multiple floors of it and it led up to the top of the mountain, where I had a glass ceiling and a small farm. Good stuff. I basically made the entire top of the mountain my base and put a couple automatic animal farms.

It's actually any day you were in the top 3 of rep recieved.

There is an "I don't think I'm very good at this" level of self-deprecation, but there's also an attention-seeking level of self-deprecation.

I'd personally say you're one of the most mature people on this site, and I'm happy to have you here.
Here's to another 3 years of exellent status updates.

I feel like each one is extremely short, it would be better if you did it in longer intervals (maybe once a week or every 2 weeks), and take the extra time to flush it out more and give it more story.
