Yeah I gotta agree. It looks like there's a tiny door malfunctioning on the lights instead of the lights flickering off and on.

I suggest you do not put torches into your schematics and put the torches and other light sources by it self in the program so you have complete control over them. Also like the others said, you should work on your posing. Hoped this helped

Something about this simplicity is really great.

If it was realistic lighting, the "realistic" lighting should come from a source that generates light. An example, a lamp or a torch in a lamp or just a lamp. Also avoid using stretched textures, an example is the cylinders on the steering wheel. I guess you will add more detail along the way. Hoped this helped

What's keeping the head in the air when their is no wires attached to him above like the original? -
Honestly the part with the punching was not bad! Just work on your walking cycles and smooth movement and always avoid clipping
