  6. _______________________________________ What is Mine-Imator Expanded? It's a Mine-Imator Pack, it's about adding features from many of Minecraft's assets such as mobs, textures, models, and various things from Minecraft's spinoff games(I.e Minecraft StoryMode, Minecraft Dungeons, Minecraft Earth, Minecraft Education Edition, and older versions) of Minecraft into Mine-Imator! Why this though? I've been thinking about it myself of making this for a while. I really thought about how Mine-Imator was lacking a bunch of things. Of course there are other posts with something like "Minecraft Dungeons Pack", yes those exist, but I wanted a challenge for myself to make it all myself in one. When will this be released? Minecraft Earth + Other Assets such as old Minecraft Armor plate models/textures from Minecraft Indev has been released as of 6/22/21. Others will be released when they are ready. Extra notes: Most of everything contained likely won't be updated after a fully done completion and check, updates will of course happen but for the majority of the project when officially done the only thing that is likely needed to be updated is new Minecraft Dungeon DLC content. Now, will I update it with the new DLC content? Only if it's heavily requested because I'm already adding a lot of the DLC which contains large amounts of extra work added on from standard Minecraft Dungeons, so please ask if it's really necessary. Progress on entire project: The project is a small 15% done, that sounds so little and that's because of the immense amount of content I have to add, and that percent is a estimated overall completion of everything that I'm adding. _______________________________________ _______________________________________ Changelog: Another thing I want to state is that me personally, I am not the most professional way of doing things and so if you find problems in the pack, please understand that it's a work in progress and learning experience for myself to make it better over time. Have a nice day! Everything contained in are assets from files of Minecraft or other published site such as the Minecraft Wiki which mainly are textures. Note that models are recreated based off the originals and it should be noted that most of the textures and things belong to Mojang. 10/18/21 Update: After a long time, I haven't worked on it for personal issues. I can't say I'll continue this. But I'll say if I've cancelled it if I do. Sorry to disappoint. Maybe I'll finish it one day. 5/2/2023 Final Message: I have officially abandoned this project, anyone may continue it in their own way if they seek the want to. I completely support it. This project was stressful and me not ever continuing it, or even stating I am not working on it anymore sooner is completely my fault. I apologize. But hopefully this leaves you satisfied to know it's over. Yet the download link should still work if anyone wants the assets. Peace.

  7. Greetings animators. And happy holidays! I know this year has not been easy for any of us-- from million-acre forest fires, a worldwide pandemic, and everything in-between. I am sure the long wait for 1.3.0 has not helped either. To end this year on a high note, I'll be sharing a progress report of what's been going on with 1.3.0's development, showing how it'll play out until release explaining why this update is taking a while. Inventory In the previous Dev update, I mentioned Inventory, the new design language designed by @Voxy planned to be in the next update. I have been working solely on Inventory's addition since early September (Before the last dev update!) and still working on it. Since Modelbench's full release, Voxy has been hard at work refining the design language. Nothing too extreme, these changes are far more visually appealing and coherent than ever before. I plan on finishing Inventory sometime before next Spring. The endgame After 5-7 months of Inventory's development, I'll be moving onto more graphical features I still have planned. Afterwards, I'll be looking into optimizations to help with render times like frustum culling which will help with off-screen objects. After all this, I think it will be Summer and close to the next Minecraft update. I will be taking the remaining time to refine and polish the update for public pre-releases soon after Caves & Cliffs releases in late Summer. It will be a long wait for sure, but I am sure it will be well worth it! That's all I have this time around; I don't have new features to show since Inventory is my top priority till Spring.   16. the issue with render depth is that it messes up a multitude of effects such as lighting, ssao, glow, depth of field, etc. a non-alpha rig is certainly more difficult to use and has its disadvantages (the skin has to be one color iirc), but has the advantage of allowing all of these effects to work

  18. EDIT: If there are a lot of you who do really want to use this, but find it to hard, do ask me. I will try to find time to make it more user friendly! Hi guys! XCT here! I haven't been able to post anything for a while and won't be able to in the upcoming time either. I have been working very hard on building this castle to make some animations, but I simply can't find the time right now. That's why I decided to give you guys the download. It's the link to the save file of the building, meaning you cannot import it just like that. It's not finished and not prepared for you on a silver plate, but for those determined to use it, I'm sure you'll find your way! Maybe ask some of the experienced guys to help you out, there are a lot of awesome animators around here! (Also I'm resetting my PC and I wouldn't want to throw away all that work ;-; ) If you need any help or have any questions you can contact me on my private mail: remimateboer@live.nl since I only rarely check in on the forum nowadays. (Spam=Instantblock). Or just comment/PM me on the forum as I will be checking in the first couple of days to see if you need any help and if I can be of use!
