When you lip sync the voices do you do the audio first or the animation first? Also good animation.

That's what I did, were rushing to meet our deadline

Well, I expected this to be a little bit better, but it was good anyways.

The story and the characters seem to be interesting, the animation was good and the voice acting was

also good (looks like I'm the only one that doesn't has a problem with that). But the scenery... I really don't like it, I'm referring to the city, not the natural

biomes, just the city. I'm not pretty sure if you were looking for something that feels made by a normal player... but I don't know... Don't you have any good builders on your team? :|

Also, as other people above me said, please in the next episode try not to add motion blur and camera shaking on every single scene. The camera shaking would be good only

for fight scenes. Phew! I didn't expect to write as much as this, but well, good luck with episode 2! xD

Thanks for the advice, I'll be getting WAY more professional actors next time and I will make sure not to over intensify the motion blur and camera shaking, it was my first tie using AE so I probably didn't know what I was doing. :P

So far nobody has commented on the great original music made by @Sword @Basseyh @Deminu :D we do have our own original soundtrack, that's something.

Technically most of the music in Ep. 1 wasn't original... I used a few MacLeod songs, and I have no clue about the other tracks you sent me. Of course, the credits are a different story. So proud of that one.

Yeh I understand  that, certain aspects were good. Such as the storyline and sounds. Other things were a bit off... like the lip syncing. And also... why are the characters blinking so much? :P I guess I thought it would be this incredible animation, probably due to the fact that people spoke about it so much. Maybe a shorter next episode with more detail would be better :)

Also: not gonna talk about the voice acting.. it's better than text to speech and also, voice actors can be hard to find.

Still, looking forward to episode 2

EDIT : The main animation itself wasn't bad, i thought it was really good in fact .. it's mainly the face animating that I don't like.

IMO along with what Keep on Chucking and Rulan said, the characters and setting seem to be a bit confusing, there is a swat team, a medieval king and a couple of teenager skins, doesn't really add up and make any sort sense. I would suggest to stick with one theme and go with it.

The theme and the plot is that the world is filled with mods and anything can happen, like the texture pack can change mid episode and the characters will notice and comment on it. Since it's a Minecraft world there are all different kinds of skins and people like you would see on any server. That's why you will even see horse OCs in episode 2, with all the mods in the world they conflict with each other causing glitches to happen like the ore disappearing in this episode and the giant zombies from alpha versions of Minecraft reappearing, there is no one theme which makes this plot unique and I think the craziness of the outside world beyond Ingoton you will enjoy in episode 2.

Lemme rate this:

The voice acting was pretty bad and could have been improved a lot, the graphics and animation are very inconsistent, some parts have good graphics and other times the graphics are a bland as sugarless bran flakes, the motion blur is too strong and the constant shaking camera makes me nauseous, there is parts where the animation are pretty smooth however and I am impressed by how quickly this was made, overall I'd rate this a 5.5/10 Good luck on your series, I do hope you guys try improving the things I listed, anyways, good luck and have fun with your series.

Oh yeah, you have no idea. On the bright side, it can only get better right? I mean this episode was made on the fly, we didnt have to much planning but it will be different next time. And yes, Zoocomics went ham on the motion blur and camera shaking. Most of us on the team agreed on that. Hope you stick around for the rest of the series!

This statement only reminds me of the Lego Movie, which had a ton of clashing themes. But you must be weary that if your themes are scattered but don't make sense of it within the actual story, then watchers will not understand what's going on. You never want to confuse them from things that the characters themselves understand entirely, since that puts a "I don't understand what's going on and that's not fair" kind of feel on things.

Explain it in the next episode. If the first episode does a good job of theming, the next episode should do a great job of explaining some holes. I made that mistake before, believe me.
