Tigers are challenging but fun to draw. Honestly, this was more fun to draw than most of my other ones. Some background practice as well.
And today you get a bonus:
 

[IMAGE] So, I drew some character art for the new and improved Running Out. It's a work in progress, first time drawing in Illustrator. I think this would look infinitely better than M-I.

So Animator Dark asked me for a drawing that he could try to rig a head in Blender. This was the result.

Mental note: practice human faces with this style.

Considering I've never tried style before, it turned out alright.

Flat shading is something I've been avoiding for quite awhile, cos I thought it didn't give enough detail or realism. But, well... I honestly think this is better than my other shading. Which isn't to say it doesn't need work, but I'm more than happy with it. 
Thoughts?

Trying out photo realistic materials in blender

I spent all afternoon completely redoing my visualizer template. I like where this went.

Put this together while the internet was out this afternoon. It's been awhile since I've rigged anything in MI, but I think this is perhaps the best rig I've ever made.

This was made in @Nimi's MI Community Build as a proof of concept. There are 3D parts that are hidden while animating in the standard view, but appear when rendered, such as the extra hair, sleeves, and shoes. I upgraded my control points to have names and be easier to use, and they also disappear when rendering automatically (I love that bit, makes this so much easier). The mouth utilizes alpha, and has rounded corners that won't pixelate when stretched too much. This was made using only one skin and one texture sheet. 
Nimi, keep the good coming, cos I'm loving this mod.
