CRAZYKOKEBROZ got a reaction from TheXKing360 in Ender Trek 4
Ender Trek 4 is here (after a while).

This is the last of the introduction episodes of Ender Trek. I talked to my partner in the collaboration project about changing the production style starting on the next video since it was mostly based on my old way of making the video has ran into some efficiency problems. BUT it's not about the furthest detail, it's about the journey the story brings you through. Besides, who doesn't want to see Endermen flying spaceships stopping someone from making a command block? It may be a rocky road but it brings us to a conclusion that the story says solid. At the end its about heart and spirit to the story.

CRAZYKOKEBROZ reacted to Nimi in Dev update #21: "The Anniversary Update"
Hello everyone! It's been a while since the last dev update, and I'm sure you have questions about the update and what's taking so long, so let's start with answering that.
    What's taking so long?
In the previous dev update, I mentioned that I was working on "Inventory", the new UI for Mine-imator. This ended up taking a while to finish and pushing back when I planned to start on optimizations for rendering. I've since finished optimizations and now wrapping up any final graphical features for the update.

    A change of plans
As many of you know, the "Caves & Cliffs" update for Minecraft has been split into two parts. This delay in the second half of the update will give me more time to further refine the update and improve areas where the program lacks, like animation. This of course will result in a delay of the update into next year, Mine-imator's 10th anniversary.

    The Anniversary Update
With this new delay for the update going into Spring 2022, I've decided to rebrand the next major update from "Mine-imator 1.3" to "Mine-imator 2.0: The Anniversary Update". With overhauls to graphics, UI, and eventually animation (?), both david and I believe this update is deserving of the 2.0 title. I can't say for sure what new features will be coming in the next coming months for the update, but I'm sure the update will be worth the wait.

    W.I.P. feature gallery
It would be pretty cruel to end the update with nothing to show, especially with how long its been since the last dev update. So here's some early previews of what's in store. Do note that things are still subject to change in development and the following may/may not be final. ?

That about wraps this dev update up, I doubt anyone was hoping for a delay on the update, but I hope these exciting announcements offer plenty of hype for what's still to come!

CRAZYKOKEBROZ reacted to -StickyMations- in Mine-Imator forums: Infinity War (4K Wallpaper + Infinity Gauntlet rig!)
Sticky has set on a spiritual journey to gather all the infinity stones in order to eliminate half of the forum members to bring balance to the website.
The forum's finest heroes, developers, veterans, newbies and members of all types must set aside their differences and join forces in the forum's most ambitious crossover event to stop this imminent threat!

MASSIVE THANKS to EVERYONE who were so kind to share their skins and character rigs for me to use in this wallpaper, this includes @BaconSandwich, @BoltedJames, @BBruce7815, @Che3syPlayz, @Rollo, @EthanForeverAlone, @Jake_28, @KaryuGraphics, @mbanders, @MachineGunInc, @MYSELF3200, @Nimi (I love you magneficent bastard), @Pigeon_, @9redwoods, @Skjold, @Swift, @tditdatdwt, @YoshiHunter, and fellow discord buddies Gabe, Hozq and Tug the Fox. And oh what the hell I'm gonna thank @david for giving us Mine-Imator.
23 People in a wallpaper heh? Total pain in the butt to ask one for one permission to use their character and pose them afterwards, but hot damn it was worth it. For the occasion I wanted to make a different type of "more-than-one-member-wallpaper", because since I saw that these types of wallpapers often include only people who are in a certain group/server/team, I wanted to include a large variety of forum members themselves to represent how diverse the community is. All the rigging styles, all skin styles, everything clashing together in one wallpaper.
    Thank you all very much!

    Hi all,
here is the first video we made with Mine-Imator
The title "Minetraum" plays with german and english pronounciation. For german-speaking people the title can be interpreted as "My Dream". Can this be real?

CRAZYKOKEBROZ reacted to pilyglot in Shroom bunny
This was inspired by a Mianitian Isles stream from months ago, when the streamers were in the land of mushrooms and a bunny was leading them around, and then they all went afk and the bunny just hopped around singing "mushrooms are good for me, mushrooms are good for you, they make me happy, mushroom mushroom mushroom". Mostly the idea of making a psychedelic render with shrooms was funny to me, lol.

He's right. The mine imator community is very toxic.
I can't beleive we are so mean to people under the guise of things such as "constructive" critiscm and more blind hate such as:
"the pupils are misaligned", "your lighting would look better with a blue spotlight in the left" "i think this shade of color should be tweaked" and the most iconic "stiff posing".

We always pretend to strive for greatness while discouraging new people such as you. Some would say that the zombies being exactly parralel to the player is a sin, whereas here it is obviously symbolism for the greater meaning of balance. The light only falling on his face due to the zombies being shrouded in darkness is a wonderful artistic choice, showing that in the face of evil, xX_GamerGuy_Xx0234 stands for good, keeping the world in check. His house is wonderfully constructed aswell. The door is open, leaving the possiblilty of someone having sneaked in, or maybe a zombie entered.
The torches in the house emit no light as a sign that darkness and evil have infiltrated a sacred space, while the house being elevated shows that the player is above all of us, morally, physically, and metaphorically.

The colors in this peice are especially amazing. the reddish shadow tint shows the evil in the air,  pale yellow greenish lighting of the zombie sky, pure black shadows showing the voids of nothingness, as the life was sucked out of those zombies, everyone else has been defeated and zombified. This player is humanity's only hope, for they weild the legendary diamond sword.

a starless sky showcases that, in this case, there is some major light source blocking stars from being seen, nearby, showing maybe if the player defeats these two zombies and manages to pack their belongings, they can find a safe haven. Or would it be another dead end, everyone zombified?

This wallpaper manages to show strength and grace using only the player's posing. The elegant balance of the player on their tip toes, seemingly they would trip, but they dont, because they have a gaming chair. The way this player faces away from  the zombies shows they have no fear, and have no intention of even just looking in their direction, just to show that they are infact the dominant force here. they are in control.

the house being relatively empty shows that they could have been robbed looted or just only kept the essentials, such as their sword, the house not a base or fortress but just a roof for rain and nothing else. showing no fear of the outdoors. they carry nothing but a sword. no supplies, food, they know they can brave the wilds by themselves, and stay safe from zombies too.

The player in this picture is confident and the zombies seem almost scared of them.

I, on behalf of the forums in its entirety, with blessings from the great david frossa and nimikitamura, formally apologize for my and the rest of our actions.
We're sorry to see you go, you would have been the hero we needed but didn't deserve.

@CRAZYKOKEBROZ, you're really going to provoke them every time they post a suggestion? Don't you have anything more productive to do?
I think they're just saying that their suggestions aren't as useless as CRAZYKOKEBROZ claims they are, since we're looking into adding them. And I agree. Moniker's suggestions are, for the most part, pretty sensible, especially with UX being a big focus point of 1.3.0. Plus, there's no denying that they've greatly improved their attitude, maybe you guys should try doing that too.
Anyway, to bring the discussion back to the initial suggestion, I can confirm that you'll be able to customize keybinds for timeline interactions, including play/pause. Currently, the behavior is still the same, but I'd like to get that changed, because it irks me that the hotkey doesn't behave the same as the button, lol

CRAZYKOKEBROZ reacted to Voxy in Welcome to the new Mine-imator Forums!
Hello everybody, hope you’re all doing well!
Today, we’re very excited to announce that we're launching a big update for the Mine-imator Forums, with a beautiful new design, a revamped layout and a few extra features!
In this post, we’ll cover all the changes we made, starting with...
     A snazzy new look
Gone are the dark blues and grays of days past! With this update, we’re introducing a brand new design, based on an updated version of Inventory, the design system that powers the user interface of Modelbench, and soon, Mine-imator.

Featuring a rich, bright color palette, updated typography and icons, and a wider, more spacious layout, this slick new theme will bring a much needed modern makeover for the forums. I really hope you’ll enjoy it!
     Join the dark side
If you’re the kind of person who doesn’t like frying their retinas while browsing at night, don’t worry, we got you covered! The new theme comes with a built-in Dark Mode to make your reading experience a lot more comfortable when you need it.

To enable it, simply click the moon icon on the top right of the page. The forums will automatically remember your choice, and you can disable it at any time, too!
 Note that for this feature to work properly, any existing color formatting had to be removed from posts. This was necessary to prevent text with dark colors applied to it from being impossible to read for Dark Mode users.
     News you can’t miss
Unless you specifically follow the right forums, it can be easy to miss all the important new stuff we have to share with you. To help with that, we’re introducing Headlines, a new way of making announcements to the community.
Headlines is a new feature on our homepage, allowing us to highlight any posts we want you to read, such as updates on the development of Mine-imator, important news regarding the forums, etc. This way, we can be sure you won’t have to worry about missing out on the latest juicy tidbits!
 A bit of spring cleaning
As part of this update, we’re also changing the way the forums are organized, to remove unnecessary clutter, and hopefully, make them easier to navigate.
The Mine-imator and Modelbench forums are now part of the same category, bringing them closer together, and making sure that you can find everything you need in one place.
As for the Minecraft and Off-topic categories, they’ve been merged into the Lounge, the new home of all the stuff that isn’t about Mine-imator. What used to be a dozen subforums now neatly fit within 4 forums, Random talk, Other creations, Minecraft discussion, and Forum games.
Let us know what you think about this new setup!
     And more!
We’ve replaced the existing reactions with a new set of playful animations featuring our mascots Ashley and Jonathan, animated by @mbanders and myself. And for those moments where a mere upvote just doesn’t feel like it’s enough, we’re also adding a new “Love” reaction to the roster! Use it wisely!
Moderators and members who have recently joined the forums will now display a badge next to their name in posts. User groups also have fancy icons next to their names! The number of won days and the number of questions you helped solve now display next to your posts, alongside your reputation points and your post count. The text editor has been updated with new icons and a few changes: Font and Size options were replaced with a Format option, letting you choose between three paragraph styles: Heading 1, Heading 2, and normal text. The text color option now uses the Inventory UI palette. While the selection is more limited, those new colors can automatically adapt for users that have Dark Mode enabled, ensuring high-contrast text no matter what background it’s being read against. The background color option also uses this new palette. It was tweaked to act like a highlighter tool, giving text a subtle background instead of a solid block of color. I’m very excited to start this new chapter of the Mine-imator Forums with all of you, and I hope you’ll enjoy it as much as I enjoyed working on it over the past few months. I’d also like to thank David, our trusty forum staff, and all our beta testers for helping me make this update possible.
If you have any feedback or suggestions to make, be sure to leave a reply below! In the meantime, happy browsing, everyone! Take care. ✌

Just saying, but imo it would really help your case if you conveyed your ideas/suggestions without over-exaggerating and whining about everything.
This is a good suggestion, but your reasoning of simply moving your mouse a bit being "a massive waste of time" is almost laughably over-the-top; we're talking time-savings of like... a second, tops.
It's not as much as you're making it out to be, but it's still good for improving the workflow for animators nonetheless.

Don't take that as the dev catering to your every whim. Saying this makes you sound entitled.
Also, I don't mean to sound rude here, but I'm pretty sure that some of the topics, most notably "Shadow glitch when 'Follow camera' enabled", was only fixed to shut you up because you were being obnoxiously vocal and frankly a complete ass to everyone involved.

Because a-lot of the time it was for something that was just a little (or too) far fetched. As time progressed I started to see every idea regardless to what it was as not fit for the software because I can't tell if it was one of the crappy ideas or if it was actually a real idea. Some of them are decent, but most of them just don't belong (I have trouble telling them apart nowadays). We don't need a billion random features with complexity in the software. This one may have some use in the future, but my statement is that stop begging for random stuff to be added unless you know it's actually reasonable (this suggestion has some reason in it, so I refuse to argue much about that at this point).

As __Mine__ pointed out, Mine-imator 1.3.0 will have a proper dark theme implementation, like what's been done in Modelbench.
The current interface color settings will be phased out in favor of a simple theme switcher, and all colors will adapt automatically based on which theme you choose to use.
