  1. As I am sure people will not see it, I am posting it here: My Mark 3 Collections pack is now free, see this link:
  2. I have a GTX 960 2GB, prior to this I had a GTX 750 1GB. Mineimator runs fine on both. Its only with more detailed scenes where is the program (not the card) starts to vomit
  3. But it hasn't. And before someone says to upgrade my hardware, my hardware is fine. I have task manager running and I monitor everything going on whilst the program is running. It isn't even utilising my GPU at all, even when I tell it to. My CPU rarely goes over 60% usage, and my ram is fine. There is some serious bottlenecking problems with the program which need sorting out before another major FEATURE update is released. Performance should be priority right now.
  4. This is great and all, but when are we getting that performance update.. cause atm with relatively medium sized rigs, its dogshite. Even with objects hidden the lag is still there. Hiding the stuff is meant to improve FPS no?
  5. Hello forum users, and Welcome to the 3rd and Final pack in the Valeyard Collection Series for Mineimator. Yes, this will be the very last pack I create for minimator and I will explain why in a minute. This pack is a lot slimmer than the last one, having already released a bunch of Doctor Skins in my previous mark 2 pack, I did not want to sit through it all again. However, This pack has updated the Dalek models, and now includes a new 2005 Dalek Model, and the 2010 Paradigm Dalek models. These are colourable using the colour changer in mineimator. This pack only features 11 TARDISes much like my mark 1 set, however the detail and textures on these models are far, far superior to the mark 1 and 2 sets combined. You can preview the models below. This pack is now free for use, download here : https://www.mediafire.com/file/gp1hhg71jkokske/ValeyardCollections3-fixed.zip/file CREDIT FOR USE Here are the models: Brachacki (1st Doctor) Altered Brachacki (3rd Doctor) Newbury (4th Doctor) Yardley Jones (5th Doctor) Hudolin (8th Doctor) War Doctors TARDIS Richmond 1 (9th Doctor) Richmond 2 (10th Doctor) 11th Doctor 12th Doctor 13th Doctor The 2005 Dalek Model The 2010 Paradigm Dalek Model Now you've seen all the models I should probably explain why this is my las pack. Starting September 2021, I will be attending University, studying a really intensive subject which will take up most of my time meaning I will be unable to model and texture things like this without them taking 3 years to complete. The second reason, is that Mineimator as a program is very heavily not optimised. I have been running into rendering issues and things that I cannot explain have been causing my desktop to crash. The program runs at 2fps with everything in the scene hidden and the high render camera switched off. I understand the dev is working to try and optimise the program but by the time that is released it will just be too late. So to save my sanity and my computer from imploding, I have decided not to release anymore packs for Mineimator. I have however begun making models in Blender and other software, so there is still a light at the end of the tunnel. Just not this tunnel. Anyway, Thank you for giving me the pleasure of enjoying making these models and receiving all the positive feedback from you. Till the next time. - TheVale
  6. OK. Mineimator needs a serious performance update. I do not understand what causes it, but trying to load one of my models will just destroy the frame-rate, but my CPU, GPU and RAM usage are very little. Even hiding the cubes and objects does nothing. Literally nothing. the cubes vanish and the frame-rate stays the same with nothing in the workspace. The program is bottle-necking itself and giving itself enough resources to run properly. I've tried running in compatibility modes, running as administrator, re-installing. NOTHING. not even changing the inbuilt settings work. If anyone discovers a fix for this please tell me how to rectify.
  7. So, i had the thought the other day of having some kind of forge mod support. Would it be possible to extract block, entity, and item data from mods, the same way blocks and such are imported from vanilla minecraft? Would mean that people can make builds in mods like Create and TARDIS Mod and all the blocks will be imported when you go to import from world
  8. Following my recent Youtube Video "1 Hour TARDIS Challenge - Blockbench" I wanted to construct an Interior to match the exterior. Now, I will already say, this was NOT made in 1 hour, it took about 52 total, and it isn't yet finished. However, I wanted to post the progress somewhere it would be appreciated and positively criticized, as a lot of social media just say "It sux" and don't say how to improve. Anyway, moving on from that, below are the images of the interior, along with a short flight test video with custom animations and sounds. I wanted to go for an interior that could be used during some kind of "civil war". Clearly i didn't stick to that. The interior consists of 66 blue roundels on the upper console walls, with green energy strips between. Where there aren't the energy strips, there are steel mesh beams which act as a support for the glass ring and roof which hold the upper time rotor. The outer edge of the floor also has a glass ring to view the under console. The Interior doors are essentially the exterior shell. Opening the two front doors from the exterior will reveal nothing but a police box, but with the TARDIS key in the key hole and it turned to the correct rotation, (or a lever on the console is flipped) the rear wall of the shell will open out revealing the interior. This is reminiscent of the 1963 - 1996 interior roundel doors, where instead of matching the interior they match the exterior. Anither way to think of this would be from Series 9's Hell Bent, where Clara and Ashildr where ween operating a fairly new TARDIS with the cloak of a old American Diner, the interior door the diner was the service door to the back where the front entrance of the diner would in this case be the front doors of the police box. There are also 3 galliferyan symbols in the light boxes, above the walls. These read Molto, Vale and Dochtor in Circular Gallifreyan. (Molto is a friend, Vale is me, and Dochtor is actually how "Doctor" is spelled in Circular Gallifreyan.) The console is custom design again consisting of the iconic 6 panels, this time rotated to have one of the panels facing the door rather that an edge like Matt Smith's and Peter Capaldi's TARDIS was. The underside of the panels has wood access hatches so the character in the TARDIS can work on the ship whilst materialized. This is continued to the under console, along with the metal edges of the console. The console is still very WIP so it only contains 2 levers and the console monitor. The monitor being on the panel 2 round to the left from the door, and the levers (The handbrake and throttle) Being on the edge 3 round to the right. The Monitor is just black and can be changed for a green screen when animating, or a still image as its just a surface rotated to sit in a cutout on the console. The throttle is just a slider which has a handle extruding to the right, and it moves up and down to vary the "speed" of the ship. The Handbrake.. it's my favorite design yet. It is designed to be mechanical and actually has moving parts when it is pulled, it really looks like you need to disengage it like an real handbrake, by pulling it up, then dropping down. Moving to the time rotor, it is reminiscent of the 9th/10th Doctors "Coral" Interior, with the 5 inner tubes being surrounded by thick glass, however, in the time rotor, 2 sections (one on top, one on bottom) actually move up and down, as the TARDIS is in flight. Due to the nature of this project - (its my personal interior) - it will not be put up for download until I am 110% happy with its design and functionality. Please don;t be afraid to comment your opinions and ideas, i'd love to hear them and may use a few with your permission Pictures below. 9. Importing OBJ's? Brilliant, and I understand, meshes on models can be a pain. Not 100% sure why minimator works with triangles when everything is cubes? Agreed
  10. Ok, so is there not a way of ignoring UV? just import it as blank cubes? also, obj exporting in modelbench? cool
  11. I make models for people to use in animations, but most of them need to be used in mineimator. Depending on the model type, the person that wants the model has to use blender, because the model type can only be exported as a format mineimator doesn't recognize. This causes way too many issues, and i think some kind of support should be added.
  12. I have finally begun the rework of my Whittakers TARDIS Interior, and I am pleased with I currently have. Download http://www.mediafire.com/file/5f9i896nrf0gzqy/Whittaker+Interior.zip/file UPDATE: Added Infinity Mirrors
  13. Unfortunately, I lost the project files for this in a data corruption incident, so this TARDIS will need to be remade from scratch. I will create a new post for the new interior.
