Hello!

Welcome to the Seconds Before Doom collab! This is a collab that has nothing to do with being judged, this is just for fun and something I decided to do because I was bored.

BASIC IDEA: You will create a wallpaper in which it takes place seconds before doom. It could be someone getting killed, a building collapsing, being eating by zombies, whatever.

Example:
(He's about to crash into the earth, okay?)

RULES:
No sexual content, as this is a family-friendly site, but blood is alowed Nothing has makes fun of other forum members (Unless they give permission) Anything above 720p is accepted. (1080p is recommend, yet please dont go 4k or 2k) Editing IS allowed! No .gifs or videos (Duh) You can do more then one entry OTHER INFORMATION
 
The entries are due July 20th, which is a Sunday Monday. The date can be delayed if needed. Anyone can join, regardless of skill level You can use whatever rigs/scenery/or editing software your heart desires It can tell a story about your life, a story about anything All the photos in the end will be in one slideshow in the order of entrys recieved  
NOTE: As of July 22, entries will no longer be accepted. The Tan James will make the slideshow while I tackle other projects.

Multiple Editors
The concept is simple:
Allow it so that multiple people can edit one post.
e.g: A large project that has multiple people involved, each person can submit a little bit to it.
 
This would also make editing the history books much easier if you could select more people to
help edit it and stuff.
 
Multiple Edit Buttons
I have covered this one before but let's go again:
For long posts (like the History Books), an edit button at both the top and bottom of a thread
would be much much easier than endless scrolling.
 
Chat Parties
Credit goes to BloxTheRigger for this one, though I do believe myself and many
others have suggested this (and the result is not possible with IP Boards):
Create a chat party (much like private chat) that allows maybe 5 or 6 people to chat to each
other at once, much like the PM system.
 
Teams
Much like Roblox including Groups, this is a much different concept:
So that people can browse through their favorite teams' creations and updates have a
separate page dedicated to teams.
 
Possibly also have an option of, when posting a topic, 'post as'.
This would be similar to Facebook's option to post as yourself or post as your page.
 
Locking
Letting users have the ability to lock their own topic, I believe, has been a request for a while
now.
I understand their could be some down sides, but I feel the pros outweigh the cons.
This would be especially helpful if a moderator isn't online.

Challenge accepted.

This animation was gruelingly hard to make. Lip syncing when your only reference point is frame calculations is difficult.
I know this animation isn't the best, but I did put a lot of effort and time into it, so I hope you enjoy.
I'm never doing mouth animation again.

So I know there are quite a few Mine-imator tutorials floating around out there, but - like many tutorial videos I find throughout my travels - a lot of them aren't the best quality; visually, aurally, and unfortunately educationally. I recently had an itch to create a tutorial video, and with a friend wanting to learn Mine-imator, I thought I'd try my hand at the devilish task of making a high quality, thorough and informative, and easy to understand tutorial series for Mine-imator 1.0.0 Demo 5.
 
Any feedback/suggestions (good or bad) are much appreciated. Thanks for watching!

G'day/night/morning folks. This topic will explain some of the plans I have for Mine-imator this summer (and beyond). I thought I'd clear things up since a lot has happened since the last topic in late March, and I have been thinking about what I should be doing with this program and the community.
I am currently working the final features of 1.0.0 (the GM version), which will be published some time in the near future. You can expect exciting things such as:
Fully working undo/redo Improved interface (friendlier and more modern) Alpha glitch fixed, kind of (you can control the rendering order of objects) 1.8 mobs & blocks support Some more neat stuff ... (see the dev blog) I am also planning on completely redesigning my website (including the download page). I have learnt a lot of new tricks in web development during the 4 years since Stuff By David was founded and most of the content on there is pretty outdated and needs a cleanup.
To go along with the new design, I was thinking about somehow fetching the data from the forums and displaying it on the download page. This could be a list of active members or recent/hot content posted in the Narrative/Random/Music videos or Wallpapers subforums, to give you guys additional spotlight and a chance to demonstrate what Mine-imator is capable of when people are downloading it. What do ya think?
 
But... but... what happens to C++ Mine-imator?
Rewriting the entire program will require tremendous effort and time, so I have decided that if I will ever recreate this program, I will create a more generic environment to allow for any kind of animations, not just Minecraft. I have learnt a lot about computer graphics the last couple of months and I feel that I can apply my knowledge more diligently into a program that isn't limited by Minecraft's basic style. (Dav-imator confirmed)
A project like this will however require more knowledge about animation on my part (I'm still kind of a noob to this, I mean, have you seen 5ever?), which is why I'll probably be taking some animating courses and having a look at some of the "real" animation programs out there before making this, for inspiration and to see how the pros do things.
If I ever create such a program (it's hypothetical at this point), I will of course allow "plugins", such as support for Minecraft blocks, mobs and schematics. I will also stay true to my usual philosophies when creating software, to make content creating a fun process, almost like playing a game.
Well, that's all on my mind. Keep an eye out for 1.0.0!

    *Again, like all of my rigs, the computer (or web browser) I'm using doesn't allow me to put the pictures directly into the post... Don't ask me anything like "What web browser are you using?" because you don't need to know. Shut up and deal with it.

So. I haven't really posted in a while, so, here!
 
Elijah is a 17 year old sea captain, who sails the dark seas of Aeron. After the assassination of the founders, (Ben, Gavin, and Alex), the people chose him for leader over Beast, who is Ben's younger brother. After he finds an island named Boriask, he finds Beast there, trying to figure out a way to destroy Allenium as a whole. They fight, and Elijah ends up winning.
