I had a chat with Anxious cynic, turns out he is disapointed with the community. this is exactly what he said:
"I'd have to disagree about the quality of the community as a whole - there are a few stand-out members, tho. The problem with the way the forums critique newcomers is that it's kids criticizing kids. Mine-imator is meant for fun, bullying kids for making things they want to make when they're new to the software isn't the way I'd go about encouraging them to get better. It's a typical "cliquey" situation and people get more enjoyment from trashing someone's work than they do from the good stuff they actually like."
YKW? I think It's true and he's right. but whether to think of mi as a toy or a professional software is our choice. Fads are fads, beginners are beginners. We should encourage them, give them more space and help them improve, instead of downvoting their first posts just because they are fads or low quality contents.
