I agree on the snapping issue, for sure. And I did miss the centering buttons.
I liked it better when the snapping was different for each action(rotating, moving,scaling). Now it's the same for everything.

i totally agree with this, after a couple of hours it does get annoying to have to change the snap value every time you need to get precise rotations, or positions

Im fine if there are keybinds but having some features hidden away behind shortcuts just doesn't seem very user friendly. Not every new user is going to know to look at the controls when most things already have buttons. Just simply adding some things to a dropdown menu would be great.

Thanks for the feedback on the UI! One thing to know is that most actions have been moved into menus you can access by right-clicking. This allows us to add more actions you can use without cluttering the interface with too many buttons.
Because of an oversight, some common actions are missing from such menus at the moment, but we're working on a fix. We're also going to make shortcuts more accessible throughout the interface to make them easier to learn!
As for the modeling SSAO, you can disable it if you find it too distracting, by heading into the "Graphics" settings. Its purpose is to better differentiate elements from each other, which can be useful if you're modeling while using the default, blank material.

Wait, cubic were you even here when that happened? He also didn't break any rules with that, people had the choice to upvote him or not to. I don't get why people get so triggered about his rep. he's a funny dude, people find his jokes funny, they upvote them.
