This is minor but.. Why not make the schematic affected by wind? All the leaves and grass is just stationary.

Alright soo.. After watching the whole video, it exeeded all of my expectations. I mean, it'd be really nice if the characters had rigs but that's a bit much to ask for.

    Great job!

So my reasoning behind that was because I didn't like how the wind made the shadows flicker through the leaves so I turned it off completely. And I appreciate it! So by Rig you mean like face and eye rigs to show emotions?

    Attention!

    I need voice actors/actresses

I'm doing an Animation Continuing the story of The Wanderer [Minecraft Animation]

I need two voice actors for the scripts provided.

    Scripts Here

    **Rules**

Have a decent Microphone with as little background noise (The less the better)

Read each line as dramatically as you feel. (The more the better)

    Record each line separately.

Name each file in numerical order. (So 1, 2, ...)

Create a txt file with the necessary credits you wish to receive.

Put all files in a single zipped folder named "Username - The Wanderer Pt 2".

    Drop folders HERE!

    Lastly, have fun!

Definitely give props for the ambitious length and scope of this animation. The opening scene was done well, and with a fair amount of detail that's not often seen in Mine-imator projects.

My suggestions for the future would be to improve the walk cycles a bit, use Depth of Field, and maybe up the Buffer size for the lighting (or maybe the sunlight range was to blame?) for better shadows.

Either way, this shows a lot of promise, so keep it up! ;)

I'm glad to hear you liked the opening scene! It was by far the hardest to work with given my extremely limited Pc. I'm working on building a new Pc with better specs so I can comfortably raise the buffer size. I completely agree with you on the walk cycles, I need to work on them. And yeah, I've already planned to focus more on DoF going forward.

    Thanks for the Feedback!

Wow, the beginning was really cool with the city and the use of highly detailed cars. I like it.

Glad you liked it! It took a while to render that.

i really liked the opening scene, it was a good example of how panoramic shots should be.

However, the rest of the animation I felt, overused the panoramic shots. The animation felt slow and boring after a while.

The animation was good, and the scene with the pool ball, and the foreshadowing of the scene at the beginning was very clever.

    Overall good job!

All very good points. I will consider that next time! Thank you!

What's the point of that? All you're really doing is missing out on a possibility for some subtle and visually appealing lighting.

No, I wasn't really doing that haha. I just posted this screenshot to show off my pool table rig. I spent like 3 hours on the rig and 10 minutes on the screenshot. I admit I probably should have worked on at a little longer. Also, I plan to use a similar seen in one of my upcoming animations, which I do spend a lot more time on.

I'm referring to the shrinkage of Blocks from their original size which causes uneven Texture detail, even if they were all the Scaled identically.

It's like making a chair with a hundred tiny wooden planks.

Okay, so your issue was not with texture stretching, it was with uneven texture density. Makes sense. Thank you for your feedback!
