dangit... I built this in superflat to make it easier and now I don't know how to add scenery around it... any ideas?

Just yank up the DOF and you need no scenery.
(please don't do that)

if you still want to terraform, i suggest checking out Grian's video on that.

If I were you I would download some mountains or hills that are Ginormous and place them far away like distant mountains in a circle and the you place trees everywhere
that's what I do
