This is the perfect outlook on animation. Looking to improve. A lot of young newbies on these forums think that their animation is perfect and everyone is immediately going to love it, and they won't accept constructive criticism thinking that it's hate for someone to be critical of their work. It's nice to see someone like you. It's sort of like a breath of fresh air  

As for pointers, here are a few things:
 1. You should have more scenery in the background. Something to look at aside from flat grass.
 2. The light source being parented to the top of the chest kind of looks weird while it rumbles. I suggest either not having the light source parented to the chest or making the light appear only once the chest is opened.
 3. Your movements are pretty good for a newbie. All I can say is to keep practicing and you'll learn on your own how to make things look better with timing, weight, etc.
