Why is it that adults seem to think the only thing kids should ever do is schoolwork?
Seriously, I get home: 'How was your day, and what homework do you have?'
After getting a snack: 'Why don't you get started on your homework?'
While taking a break after school: 'Don't forget your homework!'
While doing homework: 'What else do you have to do tonight?'
When done with homework: 'Great. Do you have any tests you need to study for?'
After studying: 'Anything else you have to do, be sure to get it done!'
When I'm finally able to get on the computer: 'You need to go to bed. You have school tomorrow!'
When are they going to realize that I have a life outside of schoolwork? Because it's only gotten worse over the years.

I disagree with Clockwork. That's exactly what it is. Parents are... trained.. to believe that working hard in school, all the time, is what leads to success. That it's the only good activity for a child. That's false. If we all spent less time on school and more on chasing our dreams and such, we'd be so much happier and go further in life. Sometimes it's just a matter of 'get out from under my feet. Stop bugging me. Lousy teen. Do work or something, not stupid gaming or art or writing.'

This is extremely racist but I believe darker skin (skin with more melanin) is better then lighter skin
I haven't done much studying at all on this subject but I`m pretty sure skin with more melanin have a much higher percentage of not getting skin cancer and sunburns.
Other then that I don`t know anything else about the skins, I think they are about equal.
If ya guys have any other facts on why a lighter skin colour would be better (Not like attractiveness or anything like that)

We're quite multicultural, lots of tourists all over NZ, but we're still primarily European, internet tells me we have plenty of Chinese and Indian people, I think that counts...

I honestly believe the world is being run in the wrong way. We treat countries as people, as entities, with personality; nukes, firearms as the power we need to both start and prevent fighting - we're all just kids on the playground, and that's because that's all the people that inhabit countries have ever been. Of course countries are run as if they're giant humans - we're only human. There's no real solution to this problem, Nobody in the history of our species has ever succeeded in creating real peace.

Oh my gosh, it's ridiculous. Who the hell cares what happened centuries ago? It's like the classic scenario of two families fighting over their great-grandma's goat. We just need to wipe the slate clean. Take all the nukes and get rid of them, fix the third world countries, cease war, and put every nation back to Level. 1. No strife, no bad history, and let's hope that North Korea doesn't hack everyones inventory again.
(I wish it were that easy, anyway.)
