  1. Hey just wanted to share some things about autism since people are throwing it around so lightly!!

Were you diagnosed with autism, or were you just told you probably have it/assume you have it? Saying you have autism based off assumptions is generally a bad idea because it can stunt how you see yourself. My mom is constantly trying to find excuses for my personality and behaviour and often blames it on autism, but that doesn't mean i'm autistic! we're all different. Now I'm not saying you don't have autism! But, unless you were diagnosed, try to think that you don't, because it can also be hurtful to people who are diagnosed if assume you are autistic because you aren't normal.

Please don't use you having autism or the possibility to excuse you're behaviour if you do things like lashout, be hateful, or just be mean! they might play a factor, but if you treat someone bad you shouldn't just say "sorry i have autism" you still need to live up to your mistakes and bad behaviour. I'm not saying that you do this, but i've met people who do and it's a bad mindset.

This stuff also applies with other things like clinical depression or anxiety, or anything else btw!! life is messy, and we often try to find explanations for things or something to blame.

I understand that people are probably angry or upset and they're allowed to be, but -please- you guys. Be nicer to one another, i'm tired of seeing constant fighting back and forth over such petty things.

    Nighty night.

no?? going of the basis that they -can- doesn't mean they do or will? people -can- feel bad if we talk about racism, but that doesn't mean we -shouldn't- talk about it. There are things that -need- to be talked about, but they need to be talked about properly. personally i think autism is something worth talking about.
