R2-D2 and C-3PO's names are canonically spelled Artoo-Detoo and See-Threepio. They are never referred to as R2-D2 and C-3PO in the books for A New Hope.

You dare speak of Canon to me, mortal?

? I'm jk. I assume you're referring to the novelization of A New Hope, and yeah you're right, books and subtitles say Artoo I guess because that's how it's pronounced.(I just don't like Artoo because it reminds me of when Ahsoka calls him 'Artooy' in CW S1?)

  2. Not directly, no. But I believe you can use Blockbench to convert the file to a JSON block model which can import into Mine-imator. However, if you want a model with moving parts, you'll have to rig it or recreate it in Modelbench I'm afraid.

  3. Okay, this argument has gotten so ridiculous, I'm pretty much taking @moniker's side at this point.

I haven't really been engaged in this conversation, so ima give my objective view on this.

It looks like it started out with moniker having some suggestion for thing he thought Mine-imator ought to have, and some disagreeing with both the suggestions and the rather blunt manner in which they were presented.

Then it turns into this thing where anything Moniker says is automatically bad because others keep passing off their inane opinions as fact. Saying things like, "Nobody wants this", "we don't need this" which translate as "I don't want this".

He actually has some pretty good ideas I think. A search bar for hierarchy? Great, I'd love that. But then some come along and say since they wouldn't benefit from this, neither would anyone else.

  4. Also, shortcuts to change the grid snap size too. I often switch between 1px and 0.5px, and it would be very handy to have a hotkey to change.

Of course you should be able to change the snap hotkey values in settings.

  5. If you're so keen on the idea of Mine-imator being ported to a 'proper engine', why do you just do it yourself?

Or are you say that your fine with someone else having to learn a whole new language and rewrite an all ready existing program on another engine pointlessly, but the notion that you do it yourself is unthinkable?

I'm just saying, it looks to me like you were mandating Nimi, or someone else, to go to a whole lot more work than he's already got, and still get nothing out of it, just because one particular user thinks gamemaker sucks.
