The Senate has voted against having more witnesses, as is constitutional.
Look, Article I, section 2 of the US Constitution:
"The House of Representatives shall choose their Speaker and other Officers; and shall have the sole Power of Impeachment."
See, only the house can impeach, and they have. They already made their case, had their trial(as unfair as it was) and voted to impeach.
They don't get to have more witnesses in the Senate. It is not their right.
Besides, if they have such a solid case and "overwhelming" evidence, why would they need to have more?
They're saying that the Senate trial was unfair. Uh, no, someone needs to Google the rules of the Clinton impeachment. The same rules were used in this trial.
