Well, in all fairness, despite the flawed implementation, I think this system deserves more credit. Remember, this is the version of the game that's supposed to run on phones and consoles. Creating a skin, pixel by pixel, with a controller sounds like a nightmare, and while it could work if you own it on Windows 10 where you can use a mouse, or on something with a touchscreen like the Switch or a phone/tablet, this leaves the Xbox One players with no other options.

A character creator is something that's present in so many games, it makes sense they've picked this option for Bedrock. It's so much more convenient to implement and use, and it works for every platform. Too bad it's plagued with microtransaction garbage.
