Imagine burning down someone’s shop to make a point, shop owners are probably using their shops to get just enough money to feed themselves and heat their homes.

Perhaps because they just don't know how to implement scenery, or don't know that feature exists in the program.
They are new to the program after all. They obviously won't know everything instantly, and they shouldn't be expected to either.

Ngl, that's really disappointing. That's not user-friendly at all, unlike the old Customised Worlds settings (with the exception of the Advanced sliders, in a way).
Seriously hoping this changes in the future. It is the first snapshot with it, after all...

They'll detail new commands, but as far as json files are concerned, tough shit. We'll basically have to wait until the Gamepedia folks dissect the format to give us something.

Nostalgic sentiments towards the old logo aside, the animation is a little jank by itself (though it fits pretty well alongside the jingle they have playing alongside it) but the actual logo itself is weird enough to be distinct and hopefully become more recognizable as more people get used to it though.

Downvotes are not (or at least shouldn't be) for things you disagree with.
They're for things that add nothing of value to the discussion (like using the clown emoji in an argument), or, for creations, are things that were made with no care or are lacking in anything that vaguely resembles creativity.  (Monster School for example)
Downvote things that are objectively bad or stupid, not things that you don't like or disagree with.
